Maylu is not one of the facilities that you all have looked at. This was some place that was recommended by a friend of mine. It had a home environment, very clean, and from the moment that you walked into the door it was very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. There dining room is more like a family environment; their food is excellent, healthy, and it’s nutritious. They have individual rooms and there also shared rooms that are very well-maintained. They have an activity schedule to keep us posted; they have bingo, and one of their staff that comes in from another facility does day treatment activities. It’s a Hispanic community, nice, safe, and it’s centrally located in Miami.
