"There is no place like this in South Florida. My grandmother lived here for ten years and she loved everything and everyone there. Most importantly, they loved her right back. She spent time outside every day, which was very important to her having lived her whole live in the tropics. She loved seeing the butterflies and always having friends to talk to. She has outlived many of her lifelong friends but at Bay Oaks, she made new friends quickly. The staff there is also like no where else. Many of the CNAs have worked at Bay Oaks for over 25 years. Everyone always talks about how good the food is and it really is. My grandmother lived much longer than any of thought she would and she always said it was because she didn't want to miss the next meal! She would recommend Bay Oaks so I write this for her."

"My mom was at the independent living facility here and then she moved to their assisted living. The facility is very nice. It's excellent. They have lots of activities. They served three meals a day. You have your apartment and if you're in the assisted living, they have nurses that come every couple of hours to check on the patients. It's very nice. They have arts and crafts, bingo, cards, and musical during the day. There are a lot of activities and everybody was very friendly. "

"On my visit today I was very impressed. Home was well kept, clean. Although the owner did not realize I was coming and did not have an opening at this time, she invited me in for a tour. The residents were listening to music. The rooms were well maintained and beds were made. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Overall the home had a good feeling and atmosphere."

"My father-in-law is now a resident of Sterling Aventura. We chose this place for him because the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we just had a good feeling as soon as we walked in. It seems like everybody's been working there for a long time. They have activities for the people there all day long, but they don't have very many amenities, though they have a hairdressing salon, an outdoor space seating area, a TV room, and a dining room. The food has been good so far. "

"We have a very large apartment at Vi at Aventura. It's a very nice place. It's not low end; it's high end. Then I found out that I could live there with the same level of care but without paying for it. Right now, we're still paying for this apartment; we paid $450,000. We can live in it, run out of money, and still stay until we die. We pay $5,600 a month, so it's a lot of money. We've been living here two years. We also have our own caregiver. We have about 1800 square feet, we have two bedrooms, and we have two-and-a-half baths. We live on the twelfth floor, and if I look out below me, I can see the Turnberry golf course, which is beautiful. If I look out in front of me, there's the ocean, and to the right we have the ocean and the intercoastal waterway; it's a beautiful view. The staff is perfect; you could never find people who are more helpful. They're awesome. They have activities for everything; there are games, movies, history, they have tours -- there's nothing left out here. Plus there are Zoom programs that you can watch. It's a community that's both Jewish and non-Jewish, and they celebrate all the holidays. We have a new chef now, and the food is so much better than it used to be. I didn't used to care for it, but I do now. They've made a deal with the county club down the block so that we can use any of their facilities that we don't have in our own, like basketball, the outdoor pool, or sports."

"I toured The Peninsula Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was clean and spacious, and the individuals seemed happy there, which is something I don't see normally, so they seemed very well-served. The staff was great. She was very informative and spent two hours with me, which I appreciated. They offer activities and food, and their menu looks great. They have a hair salon and offer a lot of facilities. Their dining area needs a little more space."

"My father was a memory care resident for 2.5 years. We couldnt have asked for better care and a better staff. Truly the best in Florida. Keith truly cares and is the nicest guy in the world. Every staff member treated my father with dignity. Even during covid when I couldnt see my father in person I didnt have a worry in the world knowing he was in good hands. If you want the best in South Florida i would highly recommend them"

"I toured Providence Living at Pembroke Pines. It was very welcoming. The grass is well maintained. It's a homey-type layout. You feel like you're coming home. The staff was very, very helpful. She put you at ease and answered all the questions. They're trying to finish doing whatever to make it more homey. The dining area was set up like a family setting, and they had provisions for people in wheelchairs."

"I went to Presidential Place. They showed me all around. I've been there several times to visit. They have a lot of staff and seem to be well-trained. The rooms are spacious and very nice for one person. The common area is a big room. They have entertainment that comes in occasionally, because I've been in there with a singing group and a lot of people in wheelchairs, and it's just very nice. They have a piano. The facility is beautiful and clean, and everything is neat. There was nothing on the floor."

"We toured Oakmonte Village of Davie. It was very new, like less than five years old. It was very much like a five-star hotel. It was beautiful. In all the different buildings, they had a piano with a bar area, and they had 4:00 pm happy hours. As we were leaving, we saw the shuttle come and people getting on the shuttle. We walked by a class that they were doing, sort of a chair yoga class. We loved everything about it except that it's a little far from my house and my mom's worried about that. The sales staff that took us around knew all the financials and these kinds of things, but he didn't necessarily represent a tour."

Abbey's Caring Residence is a family-owned facility that prides itself in quality above all. Abbey's is recently under new management with a new sense of freshness. Our community looks and feels like home, and not an industrialized facility. We take our food very seriously, providing 3 meals a day plus snacks whenever one is hungry. There is no such thing as not receiving food when one is hungry. Our menu is vibrant and healthy. We have a full-time cleaner constantly ensuring that our facilities are at a high level of cleanliness. We have caregivers on site 24/7 to assist with all matters, from showering, dressing, eating, ect. We provide medication management and ensure that our med techs are constantly being trained through our pharmaceutical professionals. We provide complete laundry services. We are extremely grateful to have the most caring and professional administrator, Sandra. She truly ensures that all are happy, safe, and healthy.
