"Estela Homes is really good. My mom cannot do many activities, but they offer activities outside, dominos, and drawing. The food is good. It's actually perfect. The staff is very sweet. It's always clean. There aren't any complaints about it. They go by the rules of whatever they need to eat. They have activities, but you usually need another person to handle those activities and sometimes that person is not there. The price is average; it's about the same as everyone else charges."

"My mother goes to Morning Star Adult Day Care in the morning until about 2. For now it is working out. Morning Star Adult Day Care is not an adult day care really; it is more like they meet where they go have lunch and play dominoes and bingo. They do exercises. What they need to improve is the bussing service. Sometimes the driver is sick, and sometimes the bus doesn't come to pick them up. The food is good. They give them food to take home. "

"The hospital sent my husband to Miami Jewish Health. Surprisingly, the place was very nice, and I'm impressed with the care that they're giving him. He's only been there a couple of days now. They feed him, and he seems to be resting well. He's still very weak. He became very unresponsive last week and ended up at the hospital to the hospice center at Miami Jewish Health. I've only been there twice, and the staff seemed very attentive and very caring. Medicare pays for the hospice care."

"The staff at Golden Girls Home was very accommodating. The owner came out and met with me, spoke a lot to me, and gave me a lot of advice. She was very helpful, very kind, and spent a lot of time with me trying to help me understand what would be the best care for my mother. My mother was in a nursing home at the time, and she has followed up with me several times, so she has been extremely attentive and caring. The place was clean. The staff looked professional. The residents were alert and seemed to be pretty engaged together watching TV."

"My grandmother has been in Caring Hands Assisted Living II for a month now, and she is doing wonderfully. I am so pleased with the services and the care that they are giving her. She has dementia, so she is one of those patients that needs round-the-clock care as she can't care for herself. She is also like a child all over, so she thinks the owner there is her mother, and she is just really good and phenomenal with her. I love that place! They have an activity room where they can interact with each other and play games. My grandmother is not one of the people who can partake in those types of activities, because she is like a child, but they bring her baby dolls and toys, so I think they're a great and wonderful staff. I love the owners, too. They are willing to go the extra step to make the family and the patient feel welcome and loved. I don't think I could have found a better place, and I am so comfortable with her being there, too."
