"This was an excellent visit. The first of several to come. I am invited to brunch next week, and to dinner and a concert the week after that. The emphasis of this provider is independent living and that is exactly what I want at this point. Assisted Living services will be provided when I need them, if so. Everywhere we went the place was impeccable. The staff was very friendly, the residents were cheerful, and the prospect of a French chef very appealing. Again, this was the first of several visits to the facility. Mr. Arguelles, the Director, told me prospective residents visit at least eight times before making a final decision. One of those visits is actually an overnight. One of the things I liked was that they want me to meet residents. They questioned me extensively about my lifestyle, so I can be seated at a table with folks who share some of my own interests when I return for brunch and dinner. This is the kind of facility I want."

"The Plaza at Parksquare was very good. If we were gonna move mom into anywhere, I think that would have been the place. The rooms were very nice, and the facility was very accommodating. The staff was very nice, very personable, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. The dining area had tablecloths, and it looked very comfortable. They were dealing with the Covid issues, but they had menus that could be tailored as needed. I thought the dining area was more than accommodating. There's a lot of functions and a lot of painting that I saw. There also was a movie theater. They had movie nights, cards, and stuff like that."

"My mom moved here. It was amazing. The office is very helpful throughout the process. My mom has only been there for a month. So far, so good. The room is great. The meals are included. They get to have birthday celebrations. They have bingo. They go to the supermarket and take the residents to the doctor."

"What can I say about The Peninsula as of April 14 I move my mom from one facility to this facility, I want to thank caring.com for helping me find this wonderful facility The Peninsula my mom does everything that she needs. She’s always clean she’s eating she’s playing games because they have plenty activities for them. The nurses the staff are wonderful when you walk in it’s always a nice atmosphere. and one thing that’s important. My mom is happy. I have no complaints so if you want your love ones or your parents to be well taken care of and be happy every time you just pop up on him this is the place to be, and I want to take Miss Carol. For always making me feel comfortable that my mom is OK so trust and believe that the Pennsula is the best place to place your parents or your love ones."

Abbey's Caring Residence is a family-owned facility that prides itself in quality above all. Abbey's is recently under new management with a new sense of freshness. Our community looks and feels like home, and not an industrialized facility. We take our food very seriously, providing 3 meals a day plus snacks whenever one is hungry. There is no such thing as not receiving food when one is hungry. Our menu is vibrant and healthy. We have a full-time cleaner constantly ensuring that our facilities are at a high level of cleanliness. We have caregivers on site 24/7 to assist with all matters, from showering, dressing, eating, ect. We provide medication management and ensure that our med techs are constantly being trained through our pharmaceutical professionals. We provide complete laundry services. We are extremely grateful to have the most caring and professional administrator, Sandra. She truly ensures that all are happy, safe, and healthy. "I'm going to this facility. I have friends there and I like it. The rooms are very nice. I'll have a kitchen, bedroom, and dining room. It's very spacious. It's a five star place, the dining room is very nice, the service is delicious, the food is delicious; everything is nice.They also have very good activities; you name it, and they have it. Then, they have transportation. You could go anywhere and they'll take you there."

"I toured Providence Living at Pembroke Pines. It was very welcoming. The grass is well maintained. It's a homey-type layout. You feel like you're coming home. The staff was very, very helpful. She put you at ease and answered all the questions. They're trying to finish doing whatever to make it more homey. The dining area was set up like a family setting, and they had provisions for people in wheelchairs."

"I visited Victoria Villa Assisted Living. They have a very nice property outside of the building. They have the pond, fruit trees, and palm trees, and it really looks very nice, but it's still very sad because people are pretty much at their last breath or very close to it. I like the marketing director, or whoever she was, who was talking to me. She was very professional, and she knew immediately that I wouldn't be interested in it. It's a very small place. The majority of the people are not able to eat by themselves. They are given very good service. I saw the nurse or the aide feeding the elderly woman who was totally out of it. Physical appearance was good. It was clean. There were no smells of any kind, which I'm very sensitive to. The staff was very much on point. I didn't spend much time there, but whatever my questions were, she answered them all easily and readily. I think she's a good person to be with that facility and to understand the condition of those people. This is a community for people who are suffering from the last stages of dementia. A person like me or my sister would not want to move there. It has to be known before people come because I came there for no reason at all. They did open some doors into their rooms, and there are some rooms where people are getting hospice care. I did not see the regular assisted living residents. The ones I saw were people with dementia or memory problems. They were in the process of not remodeling, but painting and doing all this cosmetic stuff. I'm sure it will look great."

"Mary's House ALF was very clean. The owner was extremely nice and I could tell he cared about what he was doing. The rooms were spacious and clean. A few of them were out playing solitaire or just generally talking. The TV was on. I didn't observe too much, but I was only there for about a half hour."

"We liked Villa Rio Vista, but they didn’t provide complete care. They had a library, exercises, and singing. They showed me studio, single, and double rooms."

"We have chosen The Palms at Plantation for my parents because it's close to our house. We can just go over there more times a day. The staff members were very knowledgeable about the subject and had a lot of experience. Each person there was pulled from another facility, so they all had long-term experience. They have all kinds of activities. They have nursing staff like RNs besides LPNs. They have an activity director, too. The director has been very knowledgeable and helpful."

"My dad has moved into Jacob's Tender Loving Care Assisted Living Facility. I like the experience of the nurses there, the cleanliness, and just how nice everybody is. It's in a very nice neighborhood. It's just an all around pleasurable experience being there. There's a swimming pool, an outdoor patio for family visits, TV, and other things. The food looks so good that I wanted to eat there. My dad doesn't do any of the activities, but there are activities for him. He just doesn't partake because he's bedridden."

"We chose it because of the convenience to the facilities that we are familiar with. They have programs to keep us busy. We're happy with our choice and the facilities there. My wife and I will be having a two-bedroom and two baths. It's a great place. "
