My mother and my father-in-law came from Normandy Estates. It was more family-like because it was a small unit with only 15 residents. I don't have any complaints about them. They were building a new memory building next door to add about 19 more rooms. They were expanding. At the time that my parents were there, they had mostly dementia and Alzheimer's patients. They had a nice room and were well taken care of. The food was not so hot. The best thing was that it was more of a family atmosphere; the owners were very involved, so you felt like family.
