While searching for a place for my friend's mother, we decided to take a look at Nightingale Manor, since it was conveniently located. Some of my friend's family live in the region. The grounds looked well-tended, fresh and comfortable. The communal areas and lounges were nicely decorated and all seemed to have a nice level of energy and participation. We could see that my friend's mother would get along well there. The facility's private areas were all quite nice. The regular meals and snacks looked appetizing and the seniors appeared to enjoy their food. The wellness program included exercise in the fitness room with classes and equipment, as well as personal care as necessary. The residents are regularly encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, from physical activity, to playing group games and signing up to take trips into the city for all kinds of fun outings. The residents all looked very well taken care of and seemed content with the kind and caring staff. It was clear that the seniors were enjoying this stimulating, yet peaceful living environment.
