We visited Villa of Kings & Queens of Delray Assisted Living in the Delray Beach area, as an option for my friend's mother. The outer grounds looked well-kept and pleasant. The lovely wooded grounds looked tranquil against the brick building. The large screened in porch had lots of comfortable furniture, air and light. The staff greeted us and seemed very warm and friendly. The foyer was nicely decorated and seemed homey, as did all of the communal rooms. The private rooms were all clean, well-kept and conveniently designed. They take the time to personalize to each resident's tastes. Communal areas were nicely designed. The exercise room had nice equipment and they also offer classes. They have outings to local libraries, events, culture, restaurants, shopping and other activities. They take suggestions to update the schedule as much as possible. The dining areas were nicely designed and warm. There were gathering spaces outdoors for eating and socializing. There is also ample space on the grounds to visit privately with families. The food looked deliciously prepared, as well as nutritious. The dietician and chef changes up the menu to keep it interesting and encourage resident to make suggestions. They also offer snacks and beverages throughout the day. From the attentive staff to its friendly vibe, we were very impressed with this senior living environment with all that it has to offer.
