My mother-in-law is at Cape Coral Shores. It is absolutely positively most excellent. I'm a retired nurse who also worked in the field, and I still would rate Cape Coral Shores far and above any nursing, assisted living, and memory care unit I have ever been in. They're absolutely excellent. There is always enough staff on hand, the residents are taken care of meticulously, the food is prepared by a chef that is excellent, and the place is always clean. I can't say enough good things about it. It is a very small community. The value is reasonable. The place is very safe. There's nobody getting out or in. It is on total lockdown.

Clean, good food and excellent care! I couldn't be happier. The nurse is truly an angel! Great activities! Dad was always doing something fun. Best place around!

Cape Coral looks beautiful, new, and very nice, but I just didn’t have a really good feeling about the clients that were there. My wife is 66 years old, and the clients there were in their 80s. I would say 95% of them are in wheelchairs, and my wife is ambulatory. It looks clean, modern, and up to date. They have a little porch only for the residents to walk around.’

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! We love this place! Best dementia care in the area, by far! We looked everywhere before moving our dad down from Wisconsin. The administrator encouraged us to take our time while visiting and invited us to talk to residents and their staff to get a feel for the facility. They even invited us to eat there for free. The food was truly delicious, the staff was so nice and the residents all seemed to be active, healthy and cared for. There was no nursing home smell either! Every other place we visited smelled like a nursing home. The price was about $1000/month less than other places too. After moving dad in we couldn't be happier! There isn't one bad staff member. The nurse is so caring! Even the chef is funny and charming. Dad enjoys the exercises in the morning, the games in the afternoon and loves the ice cream social! We have seen such an improvement in dad. He even says he loves it there!

I had my mother at Cape Coral Shores for over a year until she passed. The Administrator and the Nurse could not have been any more loving or caring. I lived over a thousand miles away and they kept me informed about every little change in my mother's condition. I could not have chosen a better facility. My mom had been in several other facilities through the years and this was the best by far! The staff is amazing, the food is better than any restaurant in town and the quality of care is second to none. I spent $1500 a month more for terrible care at a different community before finding Cape Coral Shores.

Mom has had no complaints and she's been at Cape Coral Shores. Little minor stuff but she hasn't told me she wants to leave. They seem to take care of her. They have card games. I don't see many activities there. That's the only downfall to it and they don't have transportation either. The sanitation looks very good. The rooms are not that big. They could be bigger for what they charge. The couple who own it are pretty up and up. She eats the food there and she doesn't complain about the food. Most of the time, they have soup or something for her to eat. She doesn't really complain that much except she complains maybe about one or two workers there. For the most part, she seems to get pretty good care.
