Cape West Facility is like a family home sort of environment. We chose them for the price and the family environment. Their staff turnover is what keeps it from being a 5. Their staff does not have enough medical knowledge. They provide homecooked food. The rooms could be bigger, but their patio is nice. It is more like a home, so they don't have a gym and stuff. It could be a little cleaner though. The location is close to my home, and it is in our neighborhood. It's near just about everything. The outside is nice.

My mother ended up in the hospital after staying only one month at this facility in October of 2021 due to lack of care and assistance with meals. The facility is not taken care of and the staff turnover is extremely high. Usually only one person there to handle at least 8 to 10 residents. The Florida Depart of Family Welfare (DCF) who are doing an investigation on the facility stated they have uncovered numerous violations of State codes. Investigation number 2021-328569 is open for public record from DCF. We requested a partial refund of the $4,500 for one month due to incompetency and the owner refused.

Cape west is the best small assisted living home in Cape Coral. I have been there for over 6 years. I will never leave. The management is amazing. The aides are wonderful, loving ,caring and have a lot of knowledge. I receive the Best care day in and day out!
