What most people don't realize until you experience this personally, is that being a caregiver is really hard. Having your loved one at Arden Courts is like giving part of that weight that is on your shoulders to that team, and they are more than strong enough to carry it! You can feel the love and generosity from the moment you walk in the door. Between the interactions with thier staff and residents you can tell how much they care. Andrew and Natalia are great points of contact. Ashley and Brittney address all my concerns and answer any an all questions I have. They also lead a great staff. John fixes it all. Diane is always moving and keeping the residents doing the same and Jennifer makes sure they are well feed. They meet every need for the residents but even better, me too. I couldn't be more grateful.

My husband was at Arden Courts of Fort Myers for a month. The nurses were wonderful. The activities were good. Their food was good. I just feel like their rooms were a little depressing. My husband had a single bed, a dresser, and a chair. It wasn't very big, and it wasn't very pleasant looking, but maybe it was because he was there for respite care. He was not happy there, but I don't think he'd be happy anywhere. They had a lot of activities. He partook in some of them and in some of them, he didn't. They had a courtyard, too.

I currently take care of my mother who has Alzheimer's. As of late I have been going out of my mind trying to keep things at bay. Unless you experience your loved one deteriorate and become a strange, you do not know the battle caregivers face. I called Arden courts needing some help. I spoke with Ashley and she immediately started to put me at ease. You could tell the caring and compassion that was there. I set up a tour and met whitney and natalie who showed me the facility. I was terrified at first but when I was done I knew there was no better place for mom and no better team than the one at Arden courts! They specialize in memory care and are all specifically trained on tricks and techniques. Move in was painless. The team even helped me set up the room. GREAT JOB GUYS!

Arden Courts a Fort Myers is a truly amazing place. The staff that works there truly puts their heart and soul into caring for their residence. No one else can compare to them. They are specifically trained to handle all Memory Care patients and go above and beyond your expectations. I could not ask for a better team to care for my loved ones. The marketing director Whitney answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease at all times. Thank you team for all that you do.

My wife was at this facility and lived very happy for her remaining years. The young ladies who cared for her did gods work. Everyone cared for one another. We always knew where my wife was and there was no body better at dealing with folks with Alz than Arden Courts.

Arden Courts was small, impressive, clean, and well maintained. We liked the layout as well.

This place is not at all what they say they provide to their residents. During the year my dear mother was there, she suffered broken bones, pneumonia, an infection on her legs, for issues, constant pain from broken bones and bruised ribs, sinus infections, and several major falls causing extreme black and blue, red and purple marks all over her face, neck, arms, legs, an eye contussion and more. Her last major fall that caused the most bruises she wasn't even taken to the hospital to get an mri,cat scan or her eye checked for a detached retina. Only one Dr is on staff who is a quack, was negligent by not providing a pain management program after my mom had broken her hip and shoulder, he didnt take chest xrays for pneumonia, delayed prescribing medicine for an infected cut on her hand, and worst of all, not prescribing my mom a small dosage of anti anxiety or antidepressant due to her high level of distress and constant pain, never addressed by the Dr with more than Tylenol. Really? That's not even an anti-inflammatory. After Her last fall she went to the emergency room due to a uti, emer Rm Dr said she was dehydrated, malnourished, had lost over 20 pounds in a short time and was very weak. There is more I could add, but I don't have the energy and don't want to relive the agony of watching my mom suffer from these people.s ignorance. To those reviews who commented about the exterior of facility, while that is important, isn't the quality of care, managing your loved one.s pain with proper meds, a responsive dr, supervision of patients walking around by themselves to minimize falls, and a long list of other types of things related to the level of care and staff ratio, more important??

This place is exactly the nightmare we read about. Who cares if the building setup is state of the art for a wandering resident with dementia? The patient is awful and bordering on neglect. Since August 2014 admission, my mother has had broken shoulder, fallen with injuries 3 times and many other AVOIDABLE injuries and illness with minimal intervention from so called nurse or physician. Someone needs to check their staff credentials as well as resident:staff ratios. Mom went to the emergency room last week; dehydrated, lost +22lbs. and receiving PRN for pain. Stay far, far away.

This would be the last place I would bring a loved one. They are left wondering around, no one is around to help them. I was not happy with the care at this facility

My brother was in Arden Courts at the age of 55 with Alzheimer's, and he passed away in that family, so I am very familiar with it. The thing that I like about it is the outside area where my mom could walk or get some good walking in a safe area. The other thing I like about it is they have a similar facility in Illinois where my son lives, so if I had to transfer her it would be to a very same kind of environment and the transition would not be difficult for her. I think the staff was excellent. I had no problems with them at all. The bedroom had a toilet in it and a sink. The shower area was a common area where they help the residents. There were four separate areas, and each one had their own dining area. They had common areas and a recreational area where they could sit and do exercises or have church and things like that. But the thing I liked about it is the outside area where they could walk at will. I was very satisfied with their treatment of my brother, and that is why I would put my mother there.

My wife has dementia and has been in nursing and assisted living facilities in Fl and New Jersey. for the past three years. None has been as well organized as Arden Courts. Her unit is like her family. Arden Courts has many and varied activities for the entire community. It provides excellent medical, nursing and therapeutic services. It does not have cya policies that required my wife to be taken by ambulance to the hospital for magnetic resonance images and cat-scans every time she fell. My wife was confined to a wheel chair from the side-effects of the medications she was given at her previous assisted living facility. She is now walking again. She lost her swallowing reflex. Arden Courts provides her with pureed food. I cannot imagine a better assisted and caring living facility in the USA than Arden Courts.

I have been hear many times for seminars and everyone seems very well taken care of. They have a wonderful outdoors area and residence can wonder in and out all they like. each area (there are four residences) are each a complete unit. Each area is decorated particularly for that unit and all items match, making it easier for a person to find their way around.
