My mother was at Ventura Health & Rehabilitation Center for about a month. I would give the facility a three. She didn't get much help there. I can't highly recommend the place, but the staff was very nice and very helpful. It's not hospital sterile, but homier. They had activities, but she didn't partake in them, so I really can't say much about it. There were a couple of courtyards. There was a common eating area if people wanted to go eat there. She did not go into the dining area or out to the courtyard at the time. The food was horrible. It was covered by insurance at that point.
