The Fountains was one of the homes that was available that could tend to my father's needs, so that's the reason he was placed there. It seems like they have a pretty good staff-to-resident ratio. It seems like the staff is very involved with the residents and attentive to them as well. My father participates a little bit in their activities, but there are definitely activities ongoing during the day. They have bingo, music, etc. They have a board with all the activities for the day on it, what's happening and what time. My father's room is adequate enough for the purpose it needs to serve. He is in a semi-private room, so he does have a roommate, but it seems like a big enough room to accommodate them both. My dad's room was renovated with new paint and flooring. The Fountains seems very clean, even though it is an older facility. They have done some renovations recently. It is a smaller facility, which I like. I'm glad that we ended up placing my father there. They have 60 or so beds, so it seems very well-staffed. The facility itself seems to be maintained well, even though it is older.

i visited the Fountains 4 times unannounced and found everything to be as expected for a 5 star facility. There will always be some residents that need more care than others and sometimes there will be times that there will be smells and some thing that are unpleasant to see, that is why I made several visits. My sister and I loved it so much that we put our Mom & Dad in there. Not and easy thing to do but we know that they will be well taken care of.

Walked in with my husband unannounced, just to check facilityNot one person asked us what we were doing there. The place reeked from urine and feces, people were strapped to chairs and they were slumped over, probably because they are sedated. There was a woman half naked yelling for help. When I left the place I vomited because I really did not expect this from a place that supposedly had a 4 star \rating\
