There will never be a time when Lakeview Terrace would ask you to leave. If you outlived your money, you would still live in the same apartment. No other place I've talked to has offered that. I like the fact that they have hospital care on the premises. In fact, they have two, so that if you need help immediately, you can go right there, and you don't even have to leave the premises. It's like a total community. It's not one or two buildings. It's a number of single-family homes as well as apartments, and you get to choose where you'd like to live. This is the flexibility that I have not found anywhere else. One of the people who lives there came to visit us. Then the director of the facility also came to visit us to answer our questions. I thought that was extremely cooperative of them. They were very nice and very interested in meeting us and getting to know us. No other place has been that friendly. I've actually visited some of the residences, so not only did I get to see where they live, but I also got to chat with the people who live there. I also know that they have amenities like a dog park (We have a small dog). They have a physical ed gymnasium. It's not just a room in a large facility; it's a separate gymnasium. They have a small golf course if you like to play golf. They have a trolley that goes around the facility. If you want to go over to one of their two cafeterias, you can just jump on the trolley. It circles around 24 hours a day. I also like the fact that it's a gated community where it's manned 24 hours a day. I've never heard of a place that does that.
