I am really not to happy with the staff, some reviews have said it takes time when they use the call button, and mostly its to pee, thats true, and if they dont come and she pees they get mad at her, some of the nurses and not nice to family members, had the pleaser of one of them not being nice, some of the aids are wonderful and careing, i have heard thru people dont go to Apple Rehad of Middletown i was giving them a chance, but sadly they were right. I feel some of the reviews have not been met, not good

I thought Apple Rehab Middletown was clean and well-managed. The rooms are very nice, everybody seems to be up and about, active, and they get everybody ready for the day. They have routines. They have mainly physical therapy. They offer all three meals. They’re all compassionate people.

My husband has needed rehab at a nursing home 4 times in 4 years. This facility compared to the 2 others he was in, is CLEAN and the staff is friendly and responsive. This facility is located a distance from where we live BUT it was worth the drive and sacrifice to know he is really surrounded by a loving and caring staff.

I like the Apple Rehab; it is larger. Excellent food and excellent care. You had your choice to have your food in your room or you could go to the dining room. I was in a private room. I had physical therapy every day and went to the exercise room. They had a movie theater. They had live entertainment; I enjoyed the country singers the best. I was satisfied.

My mother (unfortunately) has been cared for at Apple Rehab in Middletown three times in the last two years and she receives the best care there. I can't say enough good things about them. The staff is friendly and efficient, the facility is clean and never has that awful nursing-home "odor." The only criticism I have is the lack of security. Anyone can walk in the front door and stroll down any of the hallways without staff blinking an eye.There is no sign-in or even a locked door. But other than that, we are very happy with the care she receives at this place. My mother was sent to a different nearby facility first last year and we had her moved from there to Apple just as soon as we could and reported that place to whomever we could think of.
