I just finished a 5 week stint at the rehab portion of Water's Edge. I had never been in Rehab before and had no Idea what to expect. The people who work here are the nicest and most caring professionals I have ever met. The nurses, aids and therapists go out of their way to help and care for their patients. I had several health issues while there and they were all addressed and handledwith care and professionalism. The food was good. There were some misses but many more hits. If I had to give them a grade it would be an 80+. The staff is great and I would recommend Water's Edge highly. I'm home now but I miss many of the caregivers there.

Rooms are unsanitary this facility is so under staffed, aides do not care about patients, no communication between night staff and the day staff, food was so bad we brought food in every day, did not receive pt for three straight days, orders were not followed, wouldn’t leave my dog here

The absolute worst nursing home in the state of CT. I have been in the field for 7 years, with a compassionate heart. My grandmother just passed away at this facility. The staff seemed to have very little knowledge of the elderly and did not bring any medication on time. Actively dying my grandma did not receive morphine on time in which we had to make calls to hospice and confront the nurse eagerly. The staff does not care about the patients in the slightest and will hopefully not continue to let loved ones suffer. I wouldn’t even let my dog stay here.

My grandmother is in Water's Edge Center for Health and Rehabilitation. It's very clean, very simple, and everybody seems very kind. She doesn't like the food so much and doesn't participate, but they have physical activities like wellness, and a shuttle to a shopping center.

would not recommend this facility. they are not specialized. rehabilitation is very basic. they put you on a exercise regiment and leave you do it on your own, no supervision. Check out other facilities in the area.
