Lit'l Patch is an old house that was converted into a care center. I thought it was perfectly fine. However, I think this facility needs to evaluate who they bring in first before they do it. They seemed to be concerned about filling the bed but they didn't seem to really understand what the situation was when my dad got there. The person we had on the phone didn't really and fully understand what she was getting into with a patient with dementia. I felt comfortable at first but dad started to fall and they also overmedicated him. There were definitely adjustments when my dad first got in but I don't think they managed his health very well.

The staff there was great; it seemed as though everyone there truly cared about the patients that were living there and they weren't just there for a paycheck. They greeted every person that came to see family and loved ones that were current residents. They all had smiles on there faces! The amenities were also great as well, they seemed to have everything that they needed to take care of the patients as well as keep them active. Everything was accesible for all the patients as well! The facility was very clean and organized. I can honestly say that I dont think I saw one thing that was wrong with the facility because they took such great care of it! My overall expiernce with the facility was great. I enjoyed voulenteering there and would def. do it again thanks to all the wonderful people that worked there and there positive attitudes.
