"Keystone Place at Legacy Ridge could have been a place for my dad, but they don't have an opening. The facilities were clean, active, and accessible. The rooms were good. The lady who accommodated the tour was very energetic and understanding. They all sat us down in the beginning and gave a talk, and we asked questions. One thing about Keystone Place at Legacy Ridge is they have a very low turnover. Their staff tends to stay there for years. I thought it was going to be a lot more expensive than it was, so I was surprised to see that they were within range of everyone else."

"I was very impressed with Legend of Broomfield. I thought it was a beautiful facility and so many really good activities for seniors. When I get old, I want to live there. My mom stayed there after being in the hospital, but she only stayed for a day because she passed. It's assisted living and the facility is gorgeous with an amazing staff. The dining room was beautiful. They have a library and a beauty salon. They have bingo and crafts. They had all kinds of activities every day or different choices of things that residents could do. I think my mom would have loved it there."

"We went with Gardens Care Senior Living - Camenisch Park for my mother-in-law. They truly care. It's been nice. My mother-in-law is in a private room. They've been very patient with her. They've been very caring. They feed her excellently. The food there is wonderful. They keep an eye on her. They have a lot going on. Whether she chooses to go into them or not is another subject, but they have a lot of activities and a lot of things to keep them busy. They're not just sitting there idle. They make sure that they're nourished, too. Every two hours they have something to either eat or drink, so they're making sure they don't get dehydrated. It feels like they care about my mother-in-law. They care about her well-being, about her health, about everything. Even if you ask them the silliest of questions, they don't mind. You don't feel like you're bothering them. I don't have anything negative to say about it. They have a seating area with a TV, and they have like a little dining area. It's a small community. They only have 16 total residents there. They also have an outdoors, but we haven't used that because of the cold snap. It's clean for the most part, but it's an old building. The person who showed the community was wonderful. He was kind and patient. It feels like he went over and above, and he tried hard to find us what we needed. The staff has just been so over-the-top wonderful."

"We went to see the Sunrise of Westminster and toured their assisted living. It was very clean but older. It wasn't as spacious as the other facilities we have seen. They didn't have different rooms for different activities and they didn't have a library, either. It was just smaller with smaller rooms than the ones we saw in another place. They are nice, clean, and well-kept, and the staff was very friendly."

"My wife has moved into Villagio of Broomfield. I like the professionalism of the staff and the compassion shown by the staff. They're all friendly and nice. They keep it as clean as one can under the circumstances. They have musical concerts, games, kickball, pick the balloon ball, and stuff like that. It's worth it. It's nice to have somebody care for my wife who is professional and available 24/7."

"We toured Highland Trail, an independent living community in Broomfield. The people are very outgoing and very personable. We were greeted by a number of the staff, and the staff member who took us around was very bubbly and outgoing. She's the one who knew absolutely everybody that we met and talked to for a minute. She talked to them about something personable, like talking about their birthday party, and things like that. She knew the clients inside well. We got a cinnamon roll the first time we were there, and then we were invited to one of their events, where they had some live music. They had sliders, root beer floats, and cupcakes, and we enjoyed it very much. The food was good. They showed us their rooms, and one of them that we liked was a little bigger than the other one, and had a balcony. The place was very clean and very nice."

"Michaela was the person who toured me through Greenridge Place Memory Care. It's a memory care only, so that was very nice. It had two sections and split right down the middle. It was very clean and very nice. They seemed to have enough staff members. They had daily laundry and daily touch-ups on cleaning the rooms and then a weekly deep clean. It's not all-inclusive. It depends on the level of care and what they do is they have a nurse who assesses the future resident and writes up a statement as to how much care that person would need. They have four staff each day and each evening and two overnight. I like that. It was a very nice facility. Michaela communicates with me about every other week to see how things are going with my search and with my mother. They seemed very caring and compassionate about their possible future resident. It was beautiful and very clean."

"San Marino Retirement is a very friendly open atmosphere. Most of the residents are very welcoming, and most sit together at lunch and things like that. They're wonderful. They're very caring people. The food is wonderful, too. Our chef came from the Brown Palace. I love the structure of the building. I've got a balcony and great views. There's a fantastic garden outback. Regarding activities, we have a luau this summer, Grandparents Day, happy hour every Friday, and tailgate parties for every home game. There are different sizes of rooms. I have a one-bedroom, and the layout is very comfortable and perfect. And mine is carpeted except for the kitchen."

"The tour at Brookdale Arvada was great. It was very close. It was probably about 2 or 3 miles away. It was smaller, so there were fewer residents and fewer rooms. So it seemed like it would be more of a neighborhood feel like even when I went, there weren't a lot of residents that were around, because they were all at cooking class. It was very clean, they had a note on a changeable board, and when I got there, it said Welcome Anthea! That was kind of nice to see. They had nice rooms, and my mom would have been able to afford some of the smaller size rooms, but I liked that everybody took their meals in the dining hall. They take everybody down to the dining hall. They were kind of like, we want to encourage our guests to connect and remain connected. I also liked that facility because it was a little bit closer to nurse-assisted. They had nurses and doctors who were on duty. So, that was kind of getting closer to what I think my mom would need. They supply the appliances in the apartment. They have smaller fridges and a microwave."

"Arbor View Senior Living was very aesthetically pleasing. During my visit at their assisted living, I looked at a number of different rooms, but I was looking primarily for a one-bedroom for my parents. I thought that the rooms seemed nice. The staff was very helpful. I had lunch there and the food was quite good. For activities, they were offering crafts and exercise classes. The residents are also able to sign up and go on field trips."

"After living in two other facilities, we had a loved one live at this Jaxpointe Arvada location and we were more than thrilled with the decision. We had such a sense of peace knowing that she was well taken care of. Something that we never felt at other facilities was the caring and love that she received at Jaxpointe. We enjoyed getting to know the caregivers and they knew a lot about our mom and they were able to help educate us about what was happening as she advanced more. At the end of her life, we as a family were also greeted with hugs and love. The house is very clean and the food is amazing. While it is a difficult process to see your loved one who has Alzheimer's progress, this is the best place for them to live and be loved."
