My mother was only at Garden Square of Greeley for about 30 hours, but I can honestly say they took excellent care of her while she was there. They were ready to take good care of her. They would have done a great job, but she got sick. It was an excellent facility. It would have been a really great fit for her. Her room was excellent, too. There were lots of safety features, and she would have been able to do anything she wanted herself. It was a really nice little community. They had a patio. They had somebody come in and cut hair once a month. They did great the 30 hours she was there.

I had my husband in memory care for less than 1 month. His room was always messy and the bathroom was not clean. I ended up bringing my own cleaners to clean when I visited. He fell and was taken to the ER without any medical records going with him. The ER physician called letting me know and I had to fill them in on his medical history and medications. The resulting trauma to my husband was heartbreaking. It was a very stressful event and things should have been handled better by Garden Square Greeley.

I went to Garden Square of Greeley. It's very homey and very comfortable. The residents seemed happy. The staff member was excellent. She was friendly and knowledgeable, didn't rush us, and took her time to explain things. She was very, very good. Their layout was really good, it's just what their residents need. They have two courtyards there that are safe and secure so that people don't feel like they're locked in. They have activities. They have "sit and fit," they have animal therapy, they have a lot of arts and crafts. They take care of the residents, apparently, from what I can tell. I'm going back today for a second tour, and taking my family with me.

My dad is staying at Garden Square in Greely. The staff has been great, they've been helping me out. He is in hospice and they've been helping quite a bit. He's comfortable in his room and it's comfortable for us to visit him. He's in the last stage of dementia so he's in the memory care unit. The one meal I saw before he stopped eating, looked very good. He ate it all. The communication is great, they call to let me know what's going on all the time.

My mom moved into Garden Square of Greeley yesterday. Ashley, the lady that works there, was very helpful, and the staff is really friendly, too. Basically, it is in a neighborhood that my mom is comfortable with, and we like that area because we're from here. From what I could see of it, because I did a walking tour online, it was clean, and it looked nice. The room seemed a little small, but other than that it seemed like a nice place, it felt homey, and it felt like my mom would like the decor. I know they have a salon in there and a patio out back, and they said they have laundry and housekeeping, too.

Garden Square of Greeley was very clean and people are absolutely friendly and caring. I'm very comfortable with my mom being there. The staff is trained in memory care and they understand Alzheimer's and dementia. They're very attentive to my mother's needs, and they give me unprompted updates on her, meaning if she's having a really good or bad day, they let me know. I don't even ask for it, they just provide it to me. The meals are very diverse and they've done a good job on that.

I am familiar with Garden Square of Greeley, and I think they are a good place. I really don’t have any complaints. The rooms that they have are the perfet size for one person. It's a small bedroom with a single bed, a closet, and a single bathroom. The staff doesn’t stay, which is not good.

Garden Square is very nice and where we ended up putting my mother. They are very helpful and informative. We picked this community because we thought they are more capable of taking care of my mom’s needs and are the most affordable. Even though it is a 40-mile round-trip for me, I’m happy with the care she is getting there. The rooms are small, but they’re small for a reason because dementia patients get confused, so they keep them small to keep them from getting overwhelmed. They all have their own bathroom and a nice dining room and lots of activities. Every time I go to visit my mother, they’re doing something. I like that even though I don’t think my mom is good at participating, they get her involved and spend a lot of time with her, sit with her, and talk to her. It seems like it’s going well. She has only been there for about a month and a half, and so far, so good.

The staff at Garden Square was great; Candice -- the admissions person -- was wonderful, and they were all great, but dad had Alzheimer’s, and after about three days there, he started falling. He had a bad fall, and he hit his head. We pointed out few things before he moved in, and they took care of them right away. They played games, and they included him right away in everything; at the time, he was able to do it. They had a balloon or a ball, and they would sit in a circle; he was doing that OK. They had a nice little girl, she volunteered every Wednesday and Friday, and she had them singing all songs; she was great. The food and the dining room setup was OK, and they tried to make it like a homey atmosphere.

The staff at this facility go beyond just caring for the elders. They live by the golden rule. It is apparent in all they do. They are here to enrich the life of the residents. Not just to earn a paycheck.

I have been here about two years and I have found it to be very friendly and clean. The residents are very well treated – on a one-on-one basis. They cook "great" meals for them too! They always have activities for them. The residents are all happy and get along. I love being here myself.

I visited every memory care facility in Greeley earlier this year and Garden Square was the best place I found. THey reat my mom with the utmost dignity I could ask for. They are friendly all of the time. Whenever I call they know how my mom has been that day and are happy to answer any of my questions. I have stopped by several different times of the day and night and everything is always good.

Clean, warm and friendly environment and staff who truly care about the well being and happiness of the residents, recognizing the individuality of each resident and learning their likes and dislikes. Help and support is also freely given to family of residents to help not only in the transition of a new resident to the Garden Square of Greeley life but in the continued care by family memebers and their residents.

Garden Square is a unique place, full of considerate, sensitive, and loving care givers. My mother lived here for over three years, in the memory care unit. It became her home and she was familiar with the surroundings and other residents and felt at home there. Her sunny disposition was enhanced by the kindness shown to her by the staff of "angels," as I called them. It was the most amazing place. Everyone should be so blessed to spend their last days in such a wonderful environment.
