"I toured The Lodge at Greeley. The community is very modern and up-to-date. The people are friendly. The facility is clean. It does have things to do there for the members of the community. It's right across the street from the shopping center, which would be very convenient. It has a grocery store there and a nice shopping center. The staff was very friendly. They're also very helpful and very knowledgeable. They do have open spaces for walking and sitting. They even have a small greenhouse where you can go in and have plants in there, if you want plants in there and such so you can work with your plants. They have a small gym area. They have what they call a theater area where you can watch movies and DVDs, things like that. They also have other rooms dedicated to games and things like that."

"My brother is living at Greeley Place. I know they give him three meals and they clean their rooms. They do exercises and they have different activities for the seniors, too. They take them on tours, they have singing, and they play bocce. They have all kinds of activities going on sometimes. Because you don't cook, the only appliance you have is a microwave and a refrigerator to keep food. They serve your meals and if you can't make it to the dining room, they'll bring it to you. They're always nice to me, and when I ask them to do things for my brother, they do it. They're very friendly and helpful. The seniors also are involved. They're like stewards of the place. They welcome you and they sit and talk and answer all your questions. Family members can join them during their dinner or lunchtime. The food is good. They have like a large serving or a small serving depending on the senior. I also see the seniors have fun and compete to keep them active."

"Sugar Valley Estates was a great place. The only major problem I had is I am not used to having neighbors that close. The rooms were very clean and well cared for. It was very nice, but it doesn’t fit us right now. We met a really nice couple there who were older than we are, and the food was very good. The staff was well informed and let us know everything. "

"I moved into Longmont. I get three meals a day, plus two snacks. At present, it is adhering to the social distancing, so we get our meals in our rooms, but they are starting to slowly lift the dining room quarantine. They are starting to allow 20 people to have a meal in the dining room at random. You sign up to do that, and they put up a schedule once a week with what meals you are scheduled to go to. The dining room is up on the third floor, which is not inconvenient because there's an elevator. There's a large distance between the people in the dining room, it is served on regular porcelain plates, not styrofoam like you get in your room, you have choices of drinks and am entree. I bought the room unseen. I saw a virtual video of the room, and I was pleasantly surprised when I moved into the apartment. There are only four apartments that are like mine in design. I have a very comfortable living room, my bedroom is bigger than what I thought it would be, and it's more than comfortable. One end of the room is all closet, with more than 75% of the space for hanging things, and the rest is shelves. The bathroom is larger than I thought it would be, it has a high rise toilet, a walk-in shower, and the maintenance people put in an extra handicap handle for me. It's very comfortable. They completely renovated the room and repainted the whole thing. They provide a small apartment style refrigerator under the cabinets, and I can put in a regular refrigerator if I want to. I have a door that leads out into the hall where people park their mobility scooters instead of bringing them into their apartment. I have an external door going out to a covered patio, it has a screen door, and I have five windows in the living area. This is a long building, with a main entrance in the middle, and two branches going out left and right. So far, I'm very happy."
