"They are very caring and compassionate. My Grandmother would wheel her wheel chair up and down the halls and when she came to a fire alarm she would pull it. They would tell me that was there daily fire alarm test. "

"I'm in The Center at Center Place. I'm in rehab right now. The people are pretty good. They're good and caring people. Most of the staff there are great. The food is pretty good. The layout and cleanliness are just great. They have rehab type programs, but since COVID, nobody has activities like social activities. They have balconies and stuff, but so much is shutdown because of COVID. You can't go out."

"Fairacres Manor is absolutely amazing. It's a very clean and very well staffed facility. The place felt like home rather than an institution. The staff had been very attentive to my dad. I just can't say enough about it. The food is wonderful. I have gone in there to eat with my dad and they have a good variety of food with good-sized portions. His room is immaculate. They are sending people to clean all the time. They have a lot more staff than any of the nursing homes we went to tour. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anybody. It is just amazing. They really are taking good care of my dad. "

"We’re in the Life care Center for rehab. The staff has been great, and the care was good. The room my mother was in is small, but it’s workable. They have Bingo, cards, and music. My mom is pleased with the food. "

"Good Samaritan Society is very neatly kept. I have only been here since the 21st of January, so I really don't have a good feel for all of it, but it seems very lovely, well kept up, and painted. If there's anything wrong, they will come immediately and replace or repair whatever needs to be done. They're very polite. It is a very family-oriented place. There are like 10 or 15 amazing activities every single day. They have walking club, exercise, and Catholic and other masses. I highly recommend this place. It feels like a small community that is very caring and not a hospital situation, and that's what I wanted. "

"My mother is at Grace Pointe Continuing Care Senior Campus for rehab. What I like was they have physical therapy and occupational therapy there. The social workers have been very informative. I feel like my mother has been in good hands. Today, they were making paper airplanes for activity and having the residents throw them down the hall. A priest came in and gave my mother communion this morning. They have bingo, they have a wheel-of-fortune viewing thing that they go, and they have other events listed such as crafts and coloring. I like it there. It's very clean. You don't see things sitting out in the hall. Everyone is very willing to help. My mother is getting PT, OT, and social services there."

"Columbine Commons is very close to where I live and they had space because they had just opened, so the place is brand new. They transport residents to doctor's appointments and they also have pedicurists and manicurists who come in every so often. They also have beauticians who come in for haircuts. They have an activity director and they put out a monthly calendar of events. They had started a barbecue once a month, inviting relatives and friends of the residents, friends and family of the staff, and it is a free barbecue. So they do offer a lot of services. I've had a few meals there and it is pretty good food. It is restaurant style, so that they have a menu that the residents choose from and they always have a special for each meal. The staff is very caring. They aim to please and make sure that things are running smoothly. The nursing staff is wonderful. They give out the medications at each meal and before the residents go to bed. It is also my understanding that the residents are checked on about every two hours during the night. They do have a button that they wear around their necks and if they are in need of a nurse or a CNA, they can press that button and somebody is there immediately. My husband does need oxygen 24/7, so there is always somebody there to fill the oxygen tank. He gets his laundry done there and the cleanliness is good. Of course, it is new, so everything is spotless and shiny. But the staff is very, very good. My husband seems to be happy there. "

"The Suites (The Suites Fort Collins) is clean, new, modern, fun, and comfortable. They have a movie theater and nice lounges. My mom says she doesn't like the food though. I think they could also do a little bit more outdoor activities and get the residents out and about a little more. They have some activities in the facility, but then if you're in there all the time, it'd be nice to get out. They're also pretty expensive."

"This place absolutely, positively ROCKS. Centre rehab had given up completely on my Mother-in-law; told us to find a nursing home...My Mother-in-law has absolutely thrived here. The staff to patient ratios are low, and each patient is treated with love and respect. The facility is more home like, than clinic-like. Staff checks in with patients frequently. Staff to patient ratios are low. Long story short, Centre gave up on my MIL, The Green Home has caused her to THRIVE. She is happy there, and in all likelihood will be able to return to her home. The Green home had my MIL up and walking on day ONE. Caring for the whole patient makes a WORLD of difference, and that's what you get here."

"I went to this facility with my grandma. She wanted to stop by and see a friend. My grandma talked to some people briefly at a desk area. Then we went to an outside area where her friend was sitting. She was sitting alone but she was happy. There were a few other residents outside too. They were dressed appropriately for the weather. They were sitting comfortably at tables. The area was clean. There was a lady who seemed less "with it" that was yelling angrily nearby. My grandma's friend asked us to push her inside (she uses a wheelchair). We went down a clean hallway towards a staff member my grandma's friend wanted to see. The staff member was polite and talked to her nicely, even though she looked like she was trying to go somewhere. We went to the resident's room and she asked me to get photo albums so she could show me pictures. They were located in her room. Her room was clean and personalized. It was quiet enough that I could talk to this person without distractions. It didn't have the feel of a medical place as far as the noise. I am not an expert on nursing homes, but this place was nice to visit. I think the residents are happy there compared to other places. I would definitely consider it if someone in my family needs a nursing home in the future. "

"The Good Samaritan Society is a very clean, very comfy, very homey, and very nice facility. The people are so kind, gentle and very honest. They assess and evaluate the individual to make sure it's a good fit for both the individual and the facility, which I think is very important. And they've handled that well. "

"Following a surgery, my Father was recommended rehab at Berthoud Living Center in Berthoud, CO. The administrator and charge nurse made the transition from hospital to the center flawless. In my experience as a CNA and working in nursing home facilities, I know that there are laws preventing residents from having any type of side rails on their bed. For my Father, this is a major issue as he has had both legs amputated above the knee for a few years and requires partial side rails and a trapeze to facilitate his bed mobility and getting in and out of bed with minimal help. In all honesty, to prevent my Father from having these two crucial tools is downright abusive. Without them, all he can do is lay flat on his back and cannot reposition himself in bed. In the past, at another facility, this led to a stage four decubitus ulcer on his coccyx.Because of this experience, I felt that I would have to fight with the nursing home staff so that he can use these items during his stay. After all, he does have them at home. Surprisingly, he had them by 10:00 PM on the very first day of his stay. It was wonderful for my Father, and for me, to have administrators and nursing staff that truly understood his need for these things. The rehab team was absolutely wonderful and my Father made such a recovery that he came out of this nursing home in better shape and with more strength and mobility skills than he had when he went in. During his four week stay, he genuinely had a wonderful time, participated in many activities with other residents, and would make Berthoud Living Center his first choice should he need this service in the future. "I felt that the staff at Spring Creek provided excellent care for my mother in law. It was a very rough process getting her to agree to live in a nursing home, but the staff at Spring Creek made her feel welcome and loved. No nursing home is perfect and there are going to be issues every once and a while. I felt like the staff and the new administrator were very attentive and responsive to my questions and concerns. Originally my mother in law was going to go to Spring Creek for rehab, but ended up not being safe at home. I don't know what my family would have done without the direction, care, and compassion from their staff. My mother and law has since passed away, but I appericate the dedication the staff showed to her care. "

"My grandmother used to live at this facility before she passed away. Every time I came to visit one of the staff members would have her involved in some kind of activity. She seemed happy and proud. Everybody seemed to care about the residents, from the nurses to the housekeepers. It is an older building and the common area is a little small,, but the staff seems to do what they can to make the best of it. "

"My short stay was for Rehab only. Overall, the facility meets the need of the residents. Physical, occupational and speech therapy staff were/are knowledgeable, supportive and caring. Nurses and CNA's were/are genuine in their treatment of residents. Ensuring medicine and care as their top priority. Facilities admin, support staff and maintenance personnel maintained a caring positive attitude. Dining staff worked hard to accommodate the varied nutritional requirements for each resident. Unfortunately, a demanding and thankless task. Event staff also has the same task in meeting the interest of residents. I believe that the activities are appropriate for the residents. Ensuring that fun, creative and engaging events are planned. Each member of staff were/are excited to share in your accomplishments and to encourage you to be the best person you can be. Sincerely, thank you! "
