The Joy of Caring

My husband is in a small group home called Joy of Caring. It is small, the caregiver ratio is excellent, the caregivers are very nice, and he gets excellent care. They don't have organized activities because there are only the three residents, and one of them is in a wheelchair. Fortunately, they think of one-on-one activities on an individual basis for whatever the cognitive level might be. But personally, the location is great, so I have more friends visiting him on a daily basis. We needed to be located there in order for it to be convenient for the people that we know. Everything is very convenient. It is right on the edge of Denver and Aurora, so you can find anything you want within a very short distance; the grocery stores come first, and then a hospital after that. It is worth recommending.

We did not put my mother there although spoke with them at length several times when they were full up. Such nice and helpful people and full of good connections to other faciities. Very peacful and comfy surroundings.
