I toured Mountain View Independent Living, and the most important thing is that they made it about me. I had looked at other places, other communities, 55 communities, and trailer parks, and sometimes I waited a long time after we made the appointment, but they made me feel like I was important to them. It was so neat right off the bat, and they wanted to know everything. They wanted to fit what I wanted. I looked at the studio. Three other people and a man lived there. He let us go through his house. He was as welcoming as ever. The person who took me around kept saying that when I would bring up anything, she would say, "Well, now it's all about you." They weren't pushy, and they were awesome. She was the best. She was the one who smiled at me the minute I came in the door. They paid attention to me. The food smelled wonderful when I was there. It's like a restaurant. They're very professional and very clean. Folks were eating when we walked by. I loved the building, which was more than I expected, and the upkeep is great.

They didn't have an activity program and are stopping serving food as of 7/1/2025. This is a place I just felt is a place where you want to be a vegetable.

I toured Mountain View Independent Living. They're undergoing renovations right now. The people working there were very helpful. They told me all about the place and everything. They gave me all the information I needed. Overall, the renovation is definitely needed to bring them up to modern-day standards. Their facility was a little dated.
