"The guy at V-Esprit was very friendly. They had a bistro where you can order stuff and they had a dining area. They had an exercise room and a room where you can watch Netflix movies as well as DVDs. The staff was very friendly. I didn't have to wait for anybody. The guy was out there and he met with me right away. He was awesome and he greeted me at the door. The rooms were good sized."

"I had an in-person tour of Harvard Square Retirement and Senior Living. They offered their dining room services from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They didn't have a two-bedroom apartment available. The staff was great, very pleasant to work with, and patient with my parents. They had a library, an exercise room, a beauty salon, a rec room, and a pool."

"I like everything. It was a gorgeous facility and had everything I would ever want. It was excellent. They had the dining, the housekeeping, and the activities. I was only interested in housekeeping because I'm independent and I can do everything by myself except housekeeping. The staff who gave the tour was very good, too. The dining area was very spacious and clean, and it seemed to have options for things that you wanted to eat. They have a menu that you choose from, so I was very impressed by that. I like the place."

"What I like best is the cleanliness, and the spirit within the community. Everybody is happy. The staff is wonderful. The grounds and the building are very nice. When my husband and I first moved in, we had a huge apartment and found that it was too big for us, so we just moved into a smaller apartment. There are more than enough activities for us. They have everything from in-house to tours and excursions. I would certainly recommend this place to others."

"I have chosen them for my husband. I like that it's more of a home-type setup. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. They made me feel at ease. Activities were going on and it was a more free-moving situation. We saw one-bedroom apartments and they were good. They provided privacy to the individuals, which gives them a level of dignity. We went to the dining room and then there was a TV room and we got to see the outside area. There's a deck with a grill and table and chairs and then there's a garden area and a very large backyard. I was quite impressed with that. I liked it. The facility was quite clean. We saw the memory care and I liked that it was very secure. You couldn't go in and out, and the doors were locked down. Everything worked out as far as my needs, my husband's needs, and location."

"My dad is now in Legacy Village. It is a beautiful community, but it is probably better for people who are a little bit agile. My dad is in memory care, and right now, there are not a lot of people there, so that's a good thing. The staff members do a good job; they seem to be caring. The food is very good. My dad plays cards, balloon volleyball, and coloring. They have activities as far as people coming in like people that play piano, so that's nice."

"Brookdale Parkplace is in a better location, but they charge twice as much. Every one I talked to or had any dealings with was positive. The rooms looked really great because they have a sliding glass door. I find it very comfortable living there. "

"My mom is doing well. The atmosphere in The Meridian is good. The service and the amenity are good as well. I don't have any problems with it. They are very good with the activities. She is in her room very much, and they make sure they go out to the family room and get involved with things. The things my mom goes to is flower arranging and games. They have bowling and mind games. It changes day by day, but they make sure to keep them on the family room and play games and stuff like that to keep their mind going. I am very happy with what they are doing with her. I am just pleased with her being there. You always have questions and concerns about how they are taking care of your family member. Of course there are things that I would do differently if she was staying here with me, but overall they have done a really good job with her. "
