The rooms were very nice and adequate in size. They have a variety of activities, and they have a library. "

"Heritage Club Denver was nice but they're way too expensive for my friend. However, you do get what you pay for there. The environment was like a hotel or a resort. It was also a clean facility. They did have different-sized rooms that you could choose from. Their staff was really nice. They were very attentive and very informative. During our visit, I did see a couple of residents in the computer playing games and others were sitting in the table reading, but they all looked happy. "

"I visited Parkside Village Retirement Resort. I like the apartment; I saw the 2-bedroom model. I like the dining facility; I did have lunch there and it was good. I liked the fact that you don't have a buy-in, it's just a monthly rental. It was essentially a month-to-month; you sign the lease, but you could get out of it if you gave them 30 days' notice. So, it wasn't a year's lease or anything like that, but it was more expensive. A similar apartment which cost me $3500 in another facility, would cost me $5200 at the Parkside. The staff was very organized in her presentation. We walked around the facility, and she was very pleasant. She's followed up on a couple of occasions, and was calling me; I mean, she's a sales representative, so it behooves her to follow up. I was pleasantly impressed. I've never been to one that was not clean, but it was certainly clean. It gave the impression of being a pleasant place. It had a kind of open central area and was well lit. But the problem with it is, the population size is about 130 or 140. They do have activities and they had a calendar which of course I looked at; that's all online, too. But it doesn't offer what the other offers. For what I had for lunch, it's good."

"I visited V-Esprit and liked it. The staff was friendly, open, and answered all my questions. I saw a sample of all three kinds of rooms that they have. They had a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and a two-bedroom patio home. They had amenities and were connected with the wellness center down the street. They had a library, theater, and the usual stuff. They showed me the activities sheet, there was an event going on as we were going through. They also have transportation to things like the grocery store. They don't serve meals there."

"I like everything at Five Star Residences of Dayton Place. It was a gorgeous facility and had everything I would ever want. It was excellent. They had the dining, the housekeeping, and the activities. I was only interested in housekeeping because I'm independent and I can do everything by myself except housekeeping. The staff who gave the tour was very good, too. The dining area was very spacious and clean, and it seemed to have options for things that you wanted to eat. They have a menu that you choose from, so I was very impressed by that. I like the place."

"The location is good, and the facilities and activities are as well. St. Andrew’s Village has everything my mom needs. She can go from independent to assisted to full time nursing care. The food is very good as well as the surroundings. "

"I'm a resident of Brookdale Meridian Lakewood, and I'm very happy with what I got. I like that the community has ten acres of property; you can get out and get some sunshine in. I'm in charge of bingo and the veteran's group. The food is good, although it could be better. We have transportation and a gym, but not a big one, and so on. The staff is excellent. The value for the price is very good."

"I really liked Brookdale Parkplace. It was a really nice facility. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions. The facility was clean. They had a lot of activities. There were different things for you to do. The rooms were big enough. They were nice sized, like a bedroom basically. They treated me very nicely. I felt at home. They have a garden. They have an outdoor seating area. They have a garden inside in the memory care. They had a pool, a hot tub, and exercise room with a machine. There's plenty there for you to occupy yourself with."

"I toured Lakewood Reserve. It's a standard-type facility. They have security there and secured rooms. They have a good place for them to eat and they have some different types of activities to keep people busy. They have 24/7 nursing care. Everything I saw indicated that it was very clean. As far as the atmosphere, it seemed like it was a good place. There were people in the activity room and in some other areas, and everybody seemed satisfied with what they were doing. Kim showed me around. She's knowledgeable about it and understands what people need and when they're looking for things. Everything she was telling me was upfront and she showed me good things."

"I have chosen Balfour Senior Living because it's very beautiful. Their staff is very nice. The food is excellent. It's the most beautiful place you'll ever see. There's a saltwater swimming pool. The staff members have been wonderful. They're outstanding."

"Gardens Care Senior Living-Homestead was a very nice facility. What I liked about it was that it was small. It seemed like a clean facility. Everything that we saw looked very good, in good shape and clean. The guy that gave us the tour was very nice. He answered all of our questions. We were pleased with the facility and the tour. I think they have studio and one-bedroom apartments. They quoted us a price that would include the room and three meals a day. They have one-bedroom cottages and two-bedroom cottages. They showed us one of the two-bedroom cottages, and those were very nice."
