"Serenity House, S. Iola Way was clean and smelled good. They had long-term employees there. They have gardening and a rotating weekly visit from a physical therapist. They do crafts and excursions outside of the home. They had very nicely outfitted bathrooms, and various types of handicap equipment in the rooms, as well as in the bathrooms. They had a big, beautiful deck yard, multiple outdoor spaces, and nice gathering rooms or common areas."

"The people and the facility were both very nice. The rooms were in good size and clean. They had a lot of activities. It would be better if they would update the facility a little bit. The old televisions also needed to be updated. I would recommend it to others. "

"My mother has moved into Highline Place Memory Care. The staff seems pretty good. They take her out on outings, and they seem to have a lot of activities. She's still very confused, but she's fine staying there. It's a pretty good place. My only concern so far is the laundry gets misplaced. The food looks okay, and she's gaining weight. They could work on cleanliness just a little bit, but other than that, it's fine. It's on the expensive side, but I like the fact that they do everything in-house and that's very convenient."

"I toured StoneCreek of Littleton. It was clean, and the people were very friendly. They did have an outdoor area. I didn't see where they did crafts. It's the same setup as where my mom is, right now. I don't like how there's just like a TV in the middle, because at the last place where my mom was, they just seem to put people in front of the TV and just kind of leave them. My mom doesn't do good with that. The rooms were nice. There were not a lot of cabinetries, and they had a couple of closets. I have nothing bad to say about them. I didn't interact with any of them except for the person that was giving us the tour, she was very good. The dining area was just an open room. It was also the room that had the TV."

"I’m going to use MorningStar at Jordan for my mom. It looks like a hotel. The staff is very nice and are like cheerleaders. They bake cookies every afternoon. They have a nice church inside. They have a facility where you can work out. I really liked it. It’s in a busy area, but right across the street is a bakery that my mom loves. They have areas where you can sit outside. Everyone goes to Village Inn on Wednesday because you get a free pie. The rooms are very nice. They have a small kitchenette with a full refrigerator so she can have some of her own stuff there. I like MorningStar at Jordan because it’s more affordable. "

"I absolutely loved the Chateau. The common areas were well designed and felt like a home. The main area was decorated as if you were outside in a french courtyard and there were several areas that were like small family rooms with tvs, reading nooks and even a game console. The outside was open to the residents at anytime but had very tall walls to pretect against wandering residents. My mother who was a true recluse actually for the first time in my life spent time hanging out with the other residents. The staff was so good at their jobs that they were able to get her to spend most of her time in the common living area where they did activities such as dancing, making crafts, listening to the daily newspaper be read to them and eat communally. The staff members were so comfortable to be around and really felt more like apart of a family. I never got the feeling they were behaving this way just because I was there. In fact when we first moved my mother there I would visit a couple times a week and stay for no less than 6 hours. They allowed family members to partake in any of the activities and eat any meals while we were there. My mother and I even helped fold the laundry which helped make it much more like a home feel than any of the other homes we looked at. I am so thankful they were able to make my mothers final years what they were. I would recommend the Chateau to anyone. "
