My father is at Cherry Creek Retirement Village. We like that place for him because of the pricing and the size of the unit. He has a small kitchenette with shelves, a stovetop, and a refrigerator. He has a pantry. They have units that had microwaves and washing machines and dryers within them. Included in his rent is housekeeping. Once a week they would come and do the general housekeeping with the linens, washing of sheets, his towels, and do basic housekeeping. They keep it pretty clean and their units are pretty spacious for the price. I've eaten there a couple of times and the food was pretty good. I just had problems with the portions. They were pretty small. Other than that, the food was seasoned well and they gave them a variety. They serve three meals a day, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a set menu that they send out for the week or you can order from the grill like a hamburger or a hot dog or something like that if you don't want what's on the menu. Every last Friday of the month, they would have a birthday celebration for everybody who celebrated a birthday that month. Then they do field trips. My only complaint is it's very ala carte. You have a base pay and then each thing that you add to it costs. They don't have anything that's all-inclusive.

The rooms are fine. Staff is good, food is fair. Sometimes very good, but fair average. The reason for my leaving it is not safe. The security needs to be increased because they get people off the streets and around the facility. The concrete sidewalks are in dire need of repair. There are a lot of walkers which makes it dangerous for them to walk on those. They have a big percentage of people with dementia so you will spend much time visiting with them and answering the same questions. It was a big much for me since I am still active. It is a lot cheaper that other facilities around here so in that respect it is what you would expect. The staff is good through and caring. They need to watch the dog population though since all residents don't watch their dogs and can jump after a therapy dog which one of them did. In the months I've been around here my therapy dog has been jumped three times

The rooms at Cherry Creek Retirement Village are great. We checked the studios and the one bedrooms. We also had a tour of all the activity rooms, the courtyard, the main room, the food area, and the dining area. We looked at everything while we were there. The dining area was very nice. It was kind of in a formal setting, like a restaurant. Most of our interaction was with the main contact there, but anybody we saw was very friendly. They seemed to know the residents. I thought that was good.

I went to look at Cherry Creek Retirement Village. There was no difference in amenities compared to the others. It's the closest to where I live, so it's easier for me to visit. My father knows this area, and he's still driving, so he can still drive to places in this area. We were looking for a two-bedroom, and they were limited. They had a library, an exercise room, a beauty salon, a rec room, and a pool.

I went to Cherry Creek Retirement Village. It's beautiful, but it's way too expensive for me. It was $3,500 a month and I couldn't afford that. They gave me a full tour. The person who showed us around was excellent. They have full facilities there for either assisted living or independent care. The dining room was beautiful. The accommodations were beautiful. The services were all included in one price. Whether you need it or not, you're going to pay for it. They had everything. They had bingo, all kinds of outdoor games, they had computers, they had poker, they had movies, sewing clubs, and a whole hobby room with sewing machines and stuff. I can't think of anything they didn't have there. They had a really well-stocked library. I didn't get to eat there, but the menu looked beautiful. They had salmon and they had special things every day. They had a menu and every day you got something different, but you could choose because it was kind of like an a la carte, or you could be served. The staff was excellent.

I like the layout at Cherry Creek Retirement Village. The way they have things is great. It's outstanding. They have a lot of area and a lot of buildings. The atmosphere is pleasant. It's very good. You get a relaxed feeling. The staff are highly professional. They're very good. They have a lot going on. They have activities where they go to baseball games. They have card games, and they have movies. They have it all posted. I would recommend them.

The only place I've been, other than the one I'm in right now, was the Cherry Creek Retirement Village. It has assisted living, nursing home, and independent living. I was there for independent living for a month and a half. My room was large, and it had plenty of storage in the kitchen area and throughout the bedroom and the living room. There were lots and lots of storage, and it was great. However, I don't think I've experienced anything higher than a 3-star. The place was old, and its staff was not trained well and its director needs plenty of compassion. He avoids seeing his patients, and he's just in his office all day long. That's the kind of thing you need to do when you're comforting older people. You need to go talk to them and make them feel wanted and comfortable. He just didn't know how to do that; he was a salesman prior to that. The building itself was huge and had a lot of space and that made people feel comfortable, but it's old and dark. It's not bright like the one I'm in right now. The people seemed to enjoy it there though, and I think it's because of the grounds. It's a beautiful grassy area and when you're allowed out, as many people as possible go out because they enjoy sitting in the grass in the sunshine, and they had a nice place to sit on. The one area that they excelled in was the activities. They had plenty of things going on, and I think the price was fair.

My father is currently a resident at Cherry Creek Village. I cannot say enough about the care that he gets there. The staff is so friendly and attentive. He has a beautiful studio apartment that is kept very clean. The food is always delicious and looks good. Love it. Thank you

My father-in-law moved into Cherry Creek Retirement Village. He's very happy over there and it worked out really well for us. He doesn't have complaints and he says everything is good. My father-in-law's apartment has a kitchen, bathroom, closets, and everything that he needs. He really liked the location and the price. The place looks like Embassy Suites. The staff who gave us the tour initially was great.

Cherry Creek was very clean, they do a lot of stuff with their residents, and my dad seems to like the food. When we took a tour, the people seemed to be informative and nice. My dad recently had an episode and they knew what to do, so they called 911 and got him to the emergency room. I have no complaints so far. My dad is in a 1-bedroom apartment right now and the living area is enough for him. He has a couch and chairs, a small kitchen if he needs it, a refrigerator, and a good-sized bathroom equipped with a shower chair and shower. The staff members I met were professional, nice, and apt to take care of the residents there. They take the seniors out once or twice a week to various stores, restaurants, they organize outings to the Rockies games, and so on. It's a nice, light, and open space

My dad is a resident of Cherry Creek. It's a very nice community, the grounds are beautiful, and they've remodeled the inside. His apartment is very spacious and I love that they have a button in the bathroom. They have to push it at 9:00 so the staff knows that he's okay. The menu looks really good and my dad enjoys the food. I like the whole process. The staff has been very helpful, not just in getting him in there, but also in stopping by and asking us questions. They have activities like Bingo, mass, and so on. If he needs to go to the doctor, pharmacy or the grocery store, they take him. All he needs to do is sign-up and he goes wherever he needs to.

My wife has been with Cherry Creek for two months now. The staff is great, the place is clean, and very nice. They have activities like Bingo and so on. They have a dining hall, laundry services and transportation. They have independent and assisted living, and the pricing is okay.

Cherry Creek is very nice. It’s an older facility but very friendly. They are in the process of remodeling some areas, but it is well confined and doesn’t seem to disturb the place. We had no trouble touring the rooms. I thought they were a little expensive, maybe $300 more than the other facility. The dining area is nice and very clean. Some people were playing games, some were doing puzzles, and some were playing pool. They also have a workout room, give classes, aerobics, or just chair classes where you just sit in a chair and do aerobics for elderly people. They take you on tours and go down to the Garden of the Gods for those who are able to do that. There’s really lots of different things that they offer. The staff is very nice and very friendly.

Cherry Creek did not have a memory care unit because they cannot secure the building. It had independent living and assisted living. It was extremely clean. The apartments were very nice and spacious. Everything was neat. They were serving lunch during my visit, and all the residents seemed extremely pleased. The nursing staff was excellent. I was very pleased with the place. They had field trips and a lot of activities. They had a pool and a gym, and they had exercise programs. They also had a beauty salon and a barber shop.

We already found a place for my mother-in-law. The name is Cherry Creek Retirement Village. She only has been there for about three weeks. So far we've been very pleased with everything. The food is great. There are a lot of activities that she can do. The laundry facilities are close by, and the apartment is of a very good size. We haven't found anything so far that we are not satisfied with. They have some courtyard and some walking area for those that have cats. There's covered parking, so I think there may be some people who have cars. She is in a one-bedroom apartment over 700 square feet. So far everybody has been very friendly and helpful. Whatever we need, they are more than willing to help us, so there are no complaints. It is nearby from where we live -- about ten minutes from our house. The only downside is that it is older. They are in the process of doing some remodeling, but it is going to be very nice once they get that done.

Mother was in Cherry Creek Retirement Village for three months. It's very close to us, so it's easy to get there. She has a friend of hers who had both her mother and father in the same facility for quite a few years, and so that was a positive. Basically, those are the two reasons. It has a big, open atrium when you first walk in, and they have a nice dining room. Pretty much everything you want. The accommodation is excellent. The food is great, and every time I've been there when she was eating, I think it's fine, too. She played bingo a couple of times. They have an exercise class. They came to try to get her today to go, but we had just gotten back from her doctor after about a 2 ½ hour-wait, so she was kind of exhausted from that. I'm satisfied with the staff. I haven't had any complaints.

I am currently living in Cherry Creek Retirement Village, and it is a really nice place to live. It is a beautiful place inside and out. In all the other communities we go to, they have areas in the community where people can come sit and chat with each other, but there were no people in them. In this community, there were people sitting, playing cards, and talking. The people who work here are not phony or in your face. They are just nice people. I like that they go the extra mile. I have come to know the folks and the people who work here by name, and they always smile. The rooms are very nice. I have an excellent place. Somebody comes to clean and vacuum it once a week. If I want them to change the sheet in my bed, they'll do that. I bring in some of the stuff that I want. The food is very good. I did all of my cooking for a long time, and it's really nice to have good food from somebody else's cooking and not have to do it. The activities are endless; I am only able to do a few things, but there is still a lot that I can do. I really like it here, and I am very happy. Another big plus for me is that I can keep all my cats. In most of the communities you can have a dog or a cat, but I have three cats, and I am able to do that. My son is very picky, but he feels the same way I do about this place, and it only takes me 10 minutes to go to their place.

My parents are in Cherry Creek Retirement Village. I chose it because it is the closest to me and because of the price. My parents love the place. They liked that there are a lot of people to socialize with. Their room is in a nice size with 800 square feet and they have a two-bedroom, two-baths. They have a little grocery store and a library. They have activities like exercise and there is a walking club. They take them shopping and to doctors appointments. Just like in any restaurants, there are times when the food is really good and there are times that they are not. However, they had a wide variety and it seems to be working. They also have a nurse there all the time.

The front desk help is always friendly and relaxed, as well as knowledgeable. The dining room is lovely, and the service there is always low-key and friendly. If you don't care for the main course of the day, they are always willing to make you a sandwich or salad instead. The apartments are roomy, and the inclusion of dish television, wifi and utilities in the rent make the price quite reasonable.

My husband and I visited Cherry Creek Retirement Village. The food was really good. People there were really nice and the place was really pretty. It is a well maintained facility. They have spacious rooms. The staff was really helpful. They have an older building which is about 30 years old, they should update the bathroom. I'll recommend it to other people.

Cherry Creek Retirement Village is in my opinion the best retirement/assisted living facility in the Aurora area. The building is well maintained, spacious and beautiful. In my experience the staff is genuine, caring, professional and knowledgeable. They provide delicious meals served by a courteous and pleasant staff. There are a variety of activities within the building as well as weekly bus trips to area attractions and events. I could not be happier with the care my family member receives.

To quote my mother, regarding her time at Cherry Creek Nursing home "Oh good, I'm home!!" My mother was a resident of Cherry Creek Nursing home, twice. The first time, she was a resident following a surgery and needed assistance as well as physical therapy. The second was at the end of her life, and when I took her back to Cherry Creek, she told me that she was home. I don't know what else I can say in a review that would provide you much more information, than my mother felt like Cherry Creek Nursing home was home. Every worker that I had to pleasure to meet was kind and helpful. Nurses, CNA's, etc. don't just stop by to give medicine or change linen. They spend time with the residents, they learn about their lives, family and help them to feel secure, safe and at home. Whether just helping my mother outside to enjoy the day or getting her ready to go with family for dinner, Cherry Creek Nursing home treated my mother with respect and dignity.
