ACC Greenhaven Terrace

I visited a friend who lives at ACC Greenhaven Terrace last year. I like it. It's a nice and clean facility. It has a lot of resources for independent living. And it seems like the people are very nice there. I enjoyed the staff. The staff was very nice. The facility was very modern. I thought it was pretty good and very safe. It doesn't have any problems. And the rooms are of pretty good size.

ACC Greenhaven Terrace was fine. The parking lot was spacious and the front had two water fountains. The inside reception area was pleasant and there's a big hall with vaulted ceilings. So, it had a feeling of spaciousness. The person that gave me the tour was the director and she was very, very helpful and provided the information we needed. My mother's a vegetarian and they directly explained to us that most likely they would not be offered. They don't have a kitchen on the premises. So, their food is prepared at their sister facility, which means that there is no flexibility and they don't cater to vegetarians. The director was truthful and helpful. I have seen one of their exercise classes in session and there were several people participating, and they were watching a video of chair exercises and everyone was engaged.

ACC Greenhaven Terrace looks well taken care of. It's in a very nice neighborhood. I have a two-bedroom apartment and there's plenty of room. I have a private patio that came with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher already. In the bathroom, it has grab bars if needed. Everyone here is very friendly. There's a swimming pool where they do water aerobics. There's also bingo games, transportation services, and they provide meals with Meals on Wheels if you need them.

The units in ACC Greenhaven Terrace are very nice, they're like small apartments. The place itself has a common border with the Nugget Market, which is a small shopping area. The residents who are mobile are actually able to walk themselves over to go shopping if they want to. They have a library, there's a computer room, and so on. You get a base price for the assisted living units, and then everything that is required is added on individually. If you're getting medication there's an additional price, if you require changing dressings, and so on. There's a long list that comes with the base price, which is not cheap.
