I was in assisted living at The Villas at Stanford Ranch because there was nothing available when I went there for independent living. For me, it didn't work out well. I was promised a 2-bedroom apartment, and the person that did that reneged on it and gave it to someone else coming in. I resented that, so I decided to leave. I didn't use their services, but a lot of people do, and they have people coming in to help them constantly through the day with a variety of services, and they all seem very happy about it. If you're in a wheelchair, they take you to the dining room, and then they'll take you back to your room. The staff was very good. The food was good. Physically, the building and the rooms were elegant.

The Villas at Stanford Ranch was new. It was just a few years old. The main building was very impressive. It had very high ceilings and a very nice setting. It's open and airy. The two-bedroom, two-bath was large. We thought it was very spacious. It had a big kitchen. Your meals are included and you're paying for those meals, but they also supply this full kitchen, and I'm just not sure why a person would need a full kitchen if they're eating in the hall. That was just odd I thought. The dining area was very open and large. Tables were set far enough apart, so you weren't sitting that close to people. We were there for lunch and the service was slow, but I think that's just part of socializing. Nobody was rushed. The food was fairly good. It was small portions, which was good. We were looking to see if they had any independent villas and they did not. We saw an apartment basically in the main wing of the independent living. The wings were separated with a pool kind of in between, which was OK. There was a pool, a seating around the pool, and a couple of green areas.

The Villas at Stanford Ranch is beautiful. I told my children I want to go there. The main facility is very nice. It's a very beautiful place. It's laid out well. I did not see any rooms in the main facility. Their memory care facility is another building behind it and I did see the rooms there, the bathing facilities and such, and their main room where they watch TV and do activities. It had tables and chairs where they eat and stuff like that. The staff was very nice and very helpful. She gave me more information that she knew of and places for what my friend needed. They had separate areas where they did artwork or things like that.

We are putting Mom into The Villas at Stanford Ranch. It's nice, bright, light, and clean, and the people seemed well cared for. They had a dining area, a craft area, and a visiting area. The room we're getting for her seemed very nice. We saw bingo.

The Villas at Stanford Ranch was very nicely kept. When we were there, they were dining. Everybody looked happy with what they were eating. It was one of the nicer ones because it had a garage attached to it. What I didn't like about it was that you had to walk downstairs to get to the garage. The apartments were very nice and clean. I saw a one-bedroom apartment. It had a washroom, a nice kitchen, and living area. The staff who gave us the tour was really quiet. I think it was her first or second day, so she didn't really know a lot either. She just took us to the apartment, walked around with us, and showed us the gaming areas. She also showed us the different places where they do art and all that kind of stuff. The dining area and the apartments were great, but the stairs were not going to be good for my sister. She liked it the best.

The Villas at Stanford Ranch was beautiful. It had a beautiful setting, very welcoming, and clean. The one that gave the tour was just very helpful and very pleasant to be around. They answered my questions, and they were all very well prepared to give me the tour. The rooms were all pretty much the same, maybe one just a little larger than the other. Each one had a good-sized window, and there was one that had a little more closet space. The dining area was a little more on the elegant side. They looked clean. They were eating, but I didn't really look on the plate to see what the food looked like. The staff seemed very friendly with each one. The ceilings were higher. It just wasn't fit for my sister.

The Villas at Stanford Ranch wer nice. I liked it a lot. We visited both the independent living and assisted living and it was very clean, very light, airy, open, but the rooms were very small on the assisted living side while the independent living side was very nice. The staff was very nice too. We had lunch and the food selection was very good. The building was also beautiful. It was just a little more costly than the other one that we looked at.

To me, The Villas at Stanford Ranch is a luxury community. The people seem to be vibrant and friendly, the amenities are outstanding, and the price is reasonable for what you get. Their menu looked quite nice and they gave us little gifts of boxes, a dessert or something from the tour. Besides the three meals a day, they also have a little bistro if you don't want to go and have a full meal, which is open until about 9:00. I enjoy swimming, and this place has a large heated pool. My husband is 86 and there's a nice exercise room for him to use, and he could swim too. Everything was very close to each other, like you didn't have to walk a long way to go to dinner, and they even have a walking path that is connected to a public park. Everything's really centralized, which was good. Another thing that was outstanding was they have covered attached garages. Monica, the person who toured me, was nice, and she wasn't pushy at all. We had a nice conversation and she toured us around. The facility is only two years old, so everything seems tip-top.

I went for a holiday luncheon at The Villas at Stanford Ranch, and it was fantastic. My husband and sister-in-law were in assisted living, but I would never put them in this place. It's just massive; the ceilings are like twenty feet high, and to me it's not at all homey. It's hard to get anywhere in there. The food at the luncheon was absolutely gorgeous; it was a big buffet and it was elaborate. My friend was in a two-bedroom apartment and downsized to a one-bedroom, which is what he really needed. Everything is very nice; but it should be with the price. After all the add-ons, it's almost $10,000 a month. It's on a couple of different floors, and to get any place you have to walk up stairs or use the elevator to get to the public rooms. It's like a castle, which was bizarre to me; it was so new when I was there. They have all these different areas with tons of stuff to do, but with the pandemic they can't get out of their rooms. It's the fanciest place I have seen.

The Villas at Stanford Ranch was a very nice place. I can't remember totally but I just know that it was well appointed and nicely furnished. The rooms were large and it was very nice. The only person I only met was the one who showed us around and she was very nice and accommodating. They had a whole list of activities. We just walked by the dining area, and it looked inviting. Everything was very nice.

The Villas at Stanford Ranch has been great. They play cards, have exercise classes, and happy hour. The staff is very nurturing and caring. My mother's room is kept clean, very nice, and very comfortable. The facility is very beautiful. Everything is new including the staff and the building.
