Thank you for your kind words, Fred. Our designers worked hard to make the environment well appointed. I am glad that you noticed our large rooms. We have some of the largest square footage per resident in the area. I hope you come visit again so I may share the features that set us apart.

What ongoing training does the staff receive in dementia care?
Our Caregivers attend In Service Training and monthly training for health, safety and well being of seniors and elderly.
Describe the overall population of assisted living residents at The Villas at Stanford Ranch. What is their average age? What are their favorite things to do?
Our residents average age is 80-85 years young. Assisted Living residents enjoy bocce ball, card games like Poker, Bridge, Bingo, Exercise classes, Paint 'n Sip classes, and our weekly Social Hour.
What programs or activities does The Villas at Stanford Ranch offer to enrich residents' well-being?
All of our common areas are available for our Assisted Living residents. Pool, Spa, Outdoor covered seating areas, Bocce Ball court made with crushed shells, Fitness room, Computer room, Movie Theater, Craft room, Pool Table and Cafe providing beverages and snacks. We have a vibrant activity program offering ways to connect; Mind, Body and Soul.
What places are near The Villas at Stanford Ranch or within walking distance for assisted living residents to enjoy?
Coffee Shops, Shopping, Banking, two residential neighborhood parks and hiking trails.
What transportation services does The Villas at Stanford Ranch offer to assisted living residents?
We offer scheduled transportation to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, events, and country drives. Our bus has a lift gate for residents with mobility challenges.
What makes the chef or dining program at The Villas at Stanford Ranch exceptional? What kind of menu can assisted living residents expect?
Our Chef Mary graduated with degrees in both Culinary Arts and Patisserie (Pastry Arts) from the Culinary Institute of the Pacific, a part of the University of Hawaii in 2007. She attended the University of Hawaii on a Dance Scholarship and taught Ballet and Classical Jazz for 20 years before changing careers. While in culinary school, she worked at a small community serving residents with dementia and found her passion for serving seniors. Her passion shows in her quality of food and service.
What safety features or security measures does The Villas at Stanford Ranch offer to assisted living residents?
Every assisted living resident is offered a pendant necklace that notifies caregivers if they need assistance. We have Emergency Pull Cords in the bathroom and bedroom. Each apartment has it's own deadbolt. Our concierge is at the front door until 7pm when the doors get locked. Residents are given a code to enter after hours. They can also ring the doorbell which notifies the staff to answer the door.
How does The Villas at Stanford Ranch keep residents' families informed about their loved ones?
We call family directly when an event occurs. We will mail letters to family for advance notice of events or changes. We also invite family to Like our Facebook page.
If The Villas at Stanford Ranch accepts dogs or cats, what indoor/outdoor areas can they enjoy?
We love your pets and do not charge a Pet Fee. We have a pet area and provide bags for pick up. We offer Pet Care as a part of your Care Plan.

Our Independent Living residents are very independent. They come and go with their own cars in their garage. They enjoy the pool, spa, outdoor seating area and Bocce Ball court. Social Hour is a popular event and attending Musicals and performances rounds out their cultural experiences.

What are some recent off-site events that the community activity director at The Villas at Stanford Ranch has organized?
We have a group of residents that enjoy going to live theater. We have attended productions like Chicago Musical at The Harris Center in Folsom, Luau with the Rotary Club.

She won the award for Outstanding Pastry Arts upon graduation. We offer an Anytime Dining Menu from 7am to 7pm in addition to the Specials that change daily and seasonally.

Independent Living apartments are located behind the security gates. Each apartment has its own deadbolt. We have Emergency Pull Cords in the bathroom and bedroom.

Residents may keep their pets in their apartment. We also offer a green area for pets and provide bags for pick up.
Does The Villas at Stanford Ranch work with an agency or registry to provide nursing and medical assistance as needed?
We have a working relationship with a Concierge Doctor and we work with many agencies offering services to our residents.
What safety features or security measures does The Villas at Stanford Ranch provide to protect residents who wander?
We offer a freestanding Memory Care with delayed egress community for our residents.
What programs or activities does The Villas at Stanford Ranch offer to keep residents engaged? How does the staff engage residents' long-term memories?
We have a full time Activity Director in Memory Care. She provides themed day activities to connect with residents on many levels. Some enjoy conversation, others like games, and many find joy in making food or crafts. During our Sing Along and Memory Games, our residents can participate in keeping their brains exercised and enjoy themselves.
Who assesses residents' health and cognitive functioning? How often is that assessment repeated?
Their personal physician assesses the resident. We monitor behaviors daily and inform the family or physician when we notice changes.

We are located next door to a residential neighborhood with a park where our Memory Care residents go on their supervised walks. We are across the street from another residential neighborhood park and Oracle. Placer County building is down the street.

We are not affiliated with any hospitals. We are conveniently located to many Doctor's, Dentist and Chiropractor offices, Kaiser Permanente Lincoln, Kaiser Permanente Hospital Roseville and Sutter Hospital Roseville.
