This brand new home provides a nurturing, comfortable and safe environment where the care, and attention that your loved one receives is second to none. Each resident is known by name, not just room number. We take an active role in all of our residents lives and tailor our services to each individual’s needs and preferences. At Highlands Manor, we are concerned with the whole person. While we provide a high level of care, supervision, and health monitoring of our residents, our commitment to them does not stop there. Highland Manor activities program provides residents with a level of stimulation beyond their basic care needs. A sampling of our activities include: Mind & Cognitive Programs: Memory Games Arts & Crafts Card Games Current Events Reading Time Body & Well being Programs: Chair Exercises Walking in our Gardens or in our Neighborhood Pet Therapy Karaoke Low-Impact Dancing On-Site Gardening Flower Decorating “King/Queen for a Day” Special Outings Religious Services Community & Social Events: Summer Barbecues Field Trips Family Picnics We offer ongoing services at all of our residents at Highland Manor: Housekeeping and laundry Medication Management and Administration Incontinence Care Bathing Grooming Dressing Our assisted living facility provides healthy, freshly prepared meals while accommodating special diets for each individual resident, in addition to centrally located snacks and beverages that is always available to our residents at any time. Unlike the a la carte billing of most large facilities, a monthly rate covers most services that are customized to the needs of the individual resident. Any additional charges must be authorized.
