Mom is in Palomar Health Rehabilitation Institute. It's so clean, everyone is so professional, it's very organized, and they encourage people to get back to full health. They're like angels. My mom said the food was not as good as the other place, but she can be very picky. When I saw the food, it looked really good. The place is immaculate, beautiful, modern, clean, and very conducive to healing. They even have a garden. They took my mom out and had her do a little gardening as part of her occupational therapy. They have a little car, so they can practice getting in and out of a car. They have rooms set up with kitchens and things that people need to work with at home. They thought of everything. There's a gym. I've seen a putting green. Whatever their activities are, it's part of the overall therapy. The rooms are excellent, very clean, very well laid out, have windows with a view, and it's bright, airy, and cheerful. There should be more of these facilities around because if you're going to get better, this is what you need. If I needed one, I'd want to be there.
