My dad has been in Mayflower Care Center for three or four months now. It's close to my house and everyone seems to be nice. I only went inside one time. Because of COVID, we cannot go inside the actual room where my dad stays. But it seems nice and clean. No smell or anything like that. So far, my father is okay with it. He just misses home. Based on my observation, everybody is nice. I can visit him anytime I want. I just set up an appointment, and the nurse would set up the Facetime schedule. I'm having lunch with him right now on the patio. The staff are working with us. They let me know everything about my dad. They would call me once in a while. If he fell or something, they let me know and all that stuff. They're very nice. They're very nice getting my dad inside and outside so I can visit him. When we visit him, they would bring my dad outside and we talk to him or have lunch with him. I can walk from my house to here. It's very convenient. My dad says he likes the food. But he can eat everything, so it doesn't matter to him. The place is a bit old, but they make the inside very clean and nice. I don't think they have any activity for the residents. I think it's worth it. For me, they have been good so far.

I don’t like Alliance El Monte Care Center because it is not so clean. Some of the staff are OK, but some are not. My husband was only there for a week.

I have toured this facility. It is a 59 bed Alzheimer's-dementia Care SNF. It is small and they tend to cater to the asian community which is nice when you want your loved one to fit in with the population. The staff is primarily asian as well. It is clean and well maintained. Non-odorous. The lobby is homelike with a fireplace. Staff are friendly and caring. Patients seem happy, sitting in front of the nurses station while listening to music. The activity director seems really dedicated to the patients, keeping them busy at all times. It is secured and safe with locked doors. The downside is that it is on a very busy street. Shopping is very close by. It does not seem to be close to a hospital I would recommend this facility.
