HELLO, , MY SON HAS BEEN A RESIDENT AT CHERRYlEE" FOR 15 YEARS... IN 1979 WE HAD HIM IN SEVERAL NURSING HOMES AFTER AN ACCIDENT AND WE HAD DIFFICULTY CARING FOR HIM AT HOME AS HIS CONDITION WORSENED. HE HAS BEEN PRETTY WELL TAKEN CARE OF THERE BUT THERE WERE TIMES WHEN WE HAD TO CALL IN "OMBUDSMAN" BECAUSE OF SOME MISUNDERSTANDINGS.. THEY DO PROVIDE THE CARE AND TREATMENT HE NEEDS AND ALSO HOST FAMILY INVITED PARTIES FOR HOLIDAYS AND OTHER OCCASSIONS...HIS BIRTHDAY IS ON THE 4TH OF JULY. HE WILL BE 55

My grandfather was placed in Alliance nursing after he had a stroke. He was in a fragile state and he needed the care of an attentive facility. Unfortunately, Alliance did not fall into this category. My family made many requests that were not fulfilled I.e. trimming my grandfather's fingernails and watch over him while he shaved. Patient care did not seem like a priority here. We were notified late that he had tachycardia for 3 days.
