Fredericka Manor is a beautiful community. They have separate cottages with garages which is very nice. The problem for us is location, and it was a long way from where we lived. It was quite a distance from where we wanted to stay to the dining room, and it was an older community. The staff is very congenial, very tenacious, and willing to spend as much time as you want. It's a fine staff.

My mother was in Fredericka Manor. It is an old facility, and I did not care for that. I think the workers had too much on their plates and would leave my mother in dirty diapers for a long time. They need to be attentive to the residents and have more communication with the family members.

My mom didn’t like Frederika Manor too much because it was too confining and didn't feel as open and accommodating to her, but I liked the people, the help, and everything. They served three meals a day and also gave them snacks. The staff was very nice, knew what they’re doing, and were understanding to her situation with dementia.

My sister is in the independent living facility of Fredericka Manor for 3-4 yrs already while my brother in law was in the nursing home before he passed away. They took good care of him. It was also a nice facility. I visited my sister in the independent living facility twice. The facility is in a nice area and it's accessible. It's very attractive too. They have cottages that guests can rent. I stayed in the guest apartment, it was great. My sister said the food is good but I haven't tried it. If you're on the rooftop, you can see the Pacific Ocean.
