Solstice Senior Living at Auburn

We take cats and dogs less than 35 lbs. Dogs cannot be aggressive towards other animals or people. Cats are cats. We have some friendly, and others that will flip you the tail.

We have scheduled transportation available each morning during the week to the Auburn area.

85 is the average age. They love crafts, exercise, music and happy hour!

Walking paths, markets, flea markets, movies, performing arts theatre, wineries, breweries, golfing, athletic club 5 minutes away with pools. Senior Center is a 5 minute walk from our building as well. Auburn is a great place for seniors.

We are fortunately to have some incredibly talented chefs and cooks. Not just one but 4! Big John makes the best soups and sauces and typically cooks dinner. Rafael is gifted with pies and desserts. He is usually cooking breakfast and lunch. Ricky is also our breakfast and prep cook. And chef Tim has a talent for preparing meat and asian infused sauces/flavors. His Beef Stir Fry is amazing. On the weekend Jackie is our breakfast cook and her ham hash is a community favorite. Second only to biscuits and gravy with eggs your way.

Breakfast at Wings restaurant at the airport, trip the the railroad museum in Colfax, and trip to the veterans parade all in the last week. These were group activities using the bus.

We have a great call emergency pendant system where a live person will come on to chat with the caller if pressed. They then will send the appropriate emergency response needed whether it's medical or simply contacting the community on the resident's behalf. We have our main phone answered 24/7. It is answered by a manager remoted overnight. We also conduct unobtrusive observation and must lay eyes on residents several times a day. If we don't see someone, we check on them to ensure they are ok.
