The process to place a loved one in memory care is a new and unknown journey when faced with the issue. The staff at Pacifica quickly, clearly, patiently and helpfully walked me through what needed to be done in a very short time frame. The cottage grounds are shady and pleasant and the residents enjoy their walks outside, with plenty of water stations provided. The office and cottage staffs go out of their way to assist the residents and their family in all matters. They are friendly and willing to help despite the challenges presented by memory care patients.

The staff has always been respectful to me and has kept me informed about my father Their efforts to allow our continued relationship through such a difficult time has been outstanding. My father's move to Pacifica was on an urgent level as the other facility put roadblock s up for his return. It was a smooth transition and my father continued to tell me not to worry he was fine, soon after his move into Pacifica. His statement meant the world to me.

My wife was a resident of Pacifica Senior living for 6 years until her passing this August I want to say this. In the 6 years that Sandra had been a resident of Pacifica I could not have asked for better care for her or believe me I would have pulled her out of there in a matter of minutes The staff the caregivers the kitchen everything has been perfect for me and I want to say this and I've said it once before This is not God's little acre but it's the closest place that you will get to it. Believe me your love one will be safe and cared for and most important you will have piece of mind.

Let me start off by saying that I do not live in the city of Tucson, but in Phoenix, Az. When my brother and sister in law needed to be moved in a full-time care facility; I naturally intended to bring them to Phoenix, my friends in Tucson insisted that I visit Pacifica of Tucson before I made a decision. I made an appointment with Dale Howard the executive director. She gave me a tour and explained their concept of caring for the residences. I spoke with some caregivers, sampled the food. My first impression was how clean the facility was and the residence were clean looked very well kept hair clean, men shaved hair combed. I was impressed enough that I placed both my brother and sister in law in Pacifica of Tucson and have never regretted it, even though I have to travel back and forth from Phoenix to Tucson. I show up unannounced every time and everything is always in order, it actually seems like the staff and the director treat them like family and you actually get like a family feeling with the caregivers. I am very pleased with my choice in Pacifica of Tucson. The facilities I looked at prior to my decision just don't match up. I highly recommend Pacifica Senior Living of Tucson. I'm the daughter of a resident who's been living there for almost a year and a half. I have spent a lot of time visiting mom there (pre-COVID). Mother did not welcome her transition from home to a senior living community. She was angry and very difficult. Pacifica's Exec Director, Dale Howard, met with her and was comforting and assuring. The executive staff also assured mom and our family that their care-giving team was well-trained and well-equipped to give my mom the best possible experience. And that is exactly what has happened. The facility is a secure setting with separate cottages surrounded by landscaped grounds for outdoor enjoyment. Parking is very convenient. Each cottage has private resident bedrooms with bathroom. There is a common area kitchen, dining room, and family/TV room where residents gather to eat and socialize. One thing I especially like is that Pacifica is located on the greater Tucson Medical Center campus. In case of an emergency, an ambulance and the hospital are literally minutes away. The facility is clean and well maintained. Each month Pacifica sends families a newsletter including a calendar of daily activities, helpful articles, and birthdays to keep us informed. As a visitor, I was always made to feel welcome and was encouraged to spend time there. Special occasions and Holidays are celebrated. There's even a beauty salon on site for hair and nail care. The executive staff reviews my mother's care plan regularly and meets with me for updates and my input. I can talk to the nurses and care-givers at any time with questions or concerns. They've always been responsive and helpful. We are on a first name basis and I feel like they truly care. Pacifica works closely with hospice care if needed and will help with end-of-life situations and palliative care. A word about COVID-19 and Pacifica: The Exec Director and staff have been on top of best safety practices during this pandemic. The most vulnerable people are in their care and Pacifica has done a great job keeping the residents safe and well. Thank you!

Beautiful place.. Certain employees i have issue with. But then ypu have employees like melissa and stefanie who are assistants but you couldnt tell they are 2 of the best 3to11 employees there. They are both so caring and kind tjey really love their job. I mever see them on the phone they are always with residents. Some 3to11 people like anna in 3 should tale notes. Shes easily frustrated and yells and cusses at residents and always on the phone.

Pacifica Senior Living Tucson would have kept my mom if she ran out of money, whereas the others I visited would say she wouldn't be able to stay. The rooms were small but doable, and the yard area was fenced-in and nice, which was a plus.

Pacifica Senior Living Tucson is absolutely spectacular. My wife has been there for 2 years. The grounds and location are excellent. I could not ask for anything better. It has been an absolutely pleasurable experience. The lady who runs the place -- I couldn't ask for better. This place is run like a fine clock. My wife's room is around 12 x 12. She has her own TV, refrigerator, a beautiful bed, her own bathroom, her own shower, and her own lounge chair. It's luxury. They have bingo and outings. My wife is diabetic, but her meals are perfect. I eat there 3 times a week, and the food is excellent.

We choose Pacifica Senior for my mom. We end up placing my mother in what they call a neuro-psychiatric ward because the violence becomes unreasonable, and they have many ties to Pacifica including the physician that is currently taking care of her. They have the ability to re-admit her back to the psychiatric facility if they need to; that is very important to us. So far, the staff seems to be very attentive. They seem to be well aware of my mother's needs, they seem to be skilled in dealing with the overall care specifically the agitation, and they are very conscious of being careful with her. When they see her ramping up, they know how to deal with her and what extra medication is to be given. It is actually quite lovely. It has a garden atmosphere with lots of trees, flowers, and grass. Everything seems to be well taken care of. All of the rooms are clean. They have their own kitchen facilities, and their own cooks are right on the premises so everything is taken care of right there.
