My husband has been here for a little over 2 weeks, recovering from multiple surgeries. When you first walk in, it feels like a home, because it is. The rooms are good, each with a half bath. The place is clean. the food is good. The caregivers, Ray and Allen, are excellent. They make family feel like family. Always welcoming. My husband is getting better care than he was in a skilled nursing facilty.

My tour of the Manor on Paradise was excellent. Diane is the owner and she's a nurse, she's excellent. It's a beautiful older home from the 50s' but they've remodeled it and updated it to accommodate 10 bedrooms. My overall excellent of them was excellent. I would have chosen them but they're just a little farther away, so I placed my husband to the one closer to us. Their rooms were adequate, they had been such an older home but they've managed to make the rooms comfortable. The dining area was lovely, everything about it including the grounds was beautiful. There were two acres, it's lovely, especially the backyard. They had a little sidewalk that went around the property so you can be outside. One of the staff members was playing the piano for the residents while I was there, so they kept them entertained.

My mother will be moving into Manor on Paradise. I like the location, and I like the inside. They had six older residents there. The manager seemed nice and answered all my questions. The room was small compared to paying $5,000. They've got activities. The facility looked clean.

Unlike other assisted living facilities in Scottsdale, this is a large home and a homey environment, not a hospital or sterile. Each resident has their own room and the staff takes wonderful care of each of them. My mother has been a resident for over 5 years, she will be 90 this year (2022) and she is happy, healthy and thriving. I highly recommend the Manor on Paradise for anyone requiring more help than can be given by family or friends.

While in their late 80's and experiencing dementia , our parents moved into Manor on Paradise, a Senior Assisted Living Group Home, in 2016, and Mom as of 2022, is still a patient there. The Manager/Owner, an RN, is wonderful. She is caring, as is her staff. Even on surprise visits, I have found our Mom, and the other residents receiving the attention they need, and have also noted how nicely the staff speak with the residents. The residents always look well-kempt, as does the home. The current Manager/Owner has made many improvements to the living areas to accommodate a calm, comfortable setting that meets the needs of her residents. She is also very responsive to family inquiries and welcomes our visits. This well-managed group care setting provides the highest level of one on one care possible for Mom's stage of life. I highly recommend this facility.
