A Family Affair

A Family Affair is licensed for five residents, and I would recommend it to any family who is looking for a smaller more relaxed environment home in the North Phoenix Area. When I was there this year I noticed that the residents were very comfortable calm, and happy. A Family Affair is located in a nice quiet community.  The curb appeal is very attractive and the backyard was simple but delightful. The common areas of the home were clean and a great size for residents to walk around comfortably. The residents rooms were very clean and homey. The staff was a younger couple who lived in the home and were the caregivers as well, which made the aurora feel like home. Out of five stars, I would rank the grounds a three, the common areas a three, the residents' rooms a three, the staff and management a three,  and the quality of care a four. Overall, I'd give A Family Affair a rating of four stars because it was very clean and they had residents that lived in the home  for three plus years and they thought of the staff as their family. In considering this keep in mind it is a mellow laid back environment.
