My dad has been a resident here for about a year now. He has dementia and Parkinson’s disease, and unfortunately his illness has progressed, therefore he requires even more attention than before. We were blessed to have found Cami’s Assisted Living Home, Dan and Cami (and their son, daughter and staff) are nothing short of AMAZING. From the beginning, they treated my dad, my sisters and I like family. I can’t say enough good things about them and their home. My dad tells me all the time how much he likes it there, how good the food is (he’s actually putting on some weight), and how much he enjoys the things that they do there. He thinks he’s at an all-inclusive resort, and with the way they treat him he has no reason to doubt that. My dad has needed hospitalization due to his condition a couple of times, but when I bring him ‘home’, it’s like he’s reuniting with family. He lights up like a Christmas tree, and there’s always plenty of smiles and hugs to go around.

We toured Cami Assisted Living for my father-in-law. We liked it because of just how friendly they were and how they took care of their patients. As we went through the patients, most of them couldn't speak to you, but one guy could, and he said that he was being very well taken care of. It was just a bedroom, and it was pretty dark for me. I didn't like that part of it. But it's very hot in Phoenix, so I guess they live with the shades shut all the time. The tour experience was great. They contacted me and they stayed in touch with me. They were the owners, and they were very friendly. Meals are included - three meals a day plus two snacks or something. There's a courtyard or a backyard that's fenced in.

Over 3 years ago, I helped my parents find an assisted living facility that met both of their needs after my father had difficulty recovering from surgery. He was taking care of my mother, who had Alzheimer's at home. My father did not want to leave his home, but with the situation, there was really no choice. After he was there for a week together with my mom, he said, "if I would have known it would be this nice, I would have agreed to come sooner." My father loved the food, companionship and care he received from both Cami and Dan. I live close by and visit unannounced on a regular basis. I am always impressed with the cleanliness, attention to detail, care and compassion I witness. Sadly, my father eventually passed away but my mother still resides there. My mother's battle with Alzheimer's has taken its toll. She has also had other assorted health issues. Cami is always there with an individualized solution or a modification to help my mom and myself through this difficult time. They also coordinate with a team of compassionate health care professionals, looking in on my mom, and communicating with me about what is best for her. Cami's has truly been a blessing to my family.

Newly remolded assisted living providing compassionate personalized care in home setting. Excellent food. Families are welcome to visit as often as wanted. I found a gem in Cami with her care and staff.
