My mom is in here and it was brand new when she moved in and had a lot of amenities that a lot of places didn't have. They offer trips and play bingo and card games, and people come in to play music. They have their own chef. We eat there quite often, and the meals are quite nice.

I toured Clearwater Agritopia. They have full kitchens. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, friendly, and pleasant. You could tell that a lot of the clients there know her. They were speaking to her and acknowledging her. They also acknowledged us when we were doing the tour. The clients were very friendly, too. The only thing that was a concern was that the parking was horrible there. But my dad liked that one the best. I tried their food and it's good.

Clearwater Agritopia was a very nice facility and had very nice staff. They seemed adequately staffed based on the number of residents. The residents were very friendly as well as the staff. They were in the middle of renovating a room for a new resident so they were able to give us a tour of that potential room and everything. It was very, very nice. They have a lot of amenities, not just arts and crafts, movie time, or game time, but they have shaded outdoor facilities ready for the residents when the weather is better. They were prepared for all aspects of trying to not just keep the person indoors, but outdoors and the overall care of what someone needs.

It had a very homey neighborhood feel. They had a school right outside the door with a playground that could be viewed from the residents' balconies. It leaves you with a sense of continuation of life, like you weren’t stuck in a nursing home. There was vibrancy to the whole community. It was very appealing. The place was new, and the food was fine. You could order off the menu, and it had a single dining room.

It was a fabulous place. We went there right around Memorial Day, and they had a lot of various war time memorabilia lying around -- pictures, medals, and everything -- so that was really cool. This place was beautiful. Very nice multiple areas for the residents, and the residents were happy. They said, “Hello,” and some were sitting around in a little sitting area talking; they had a little bistro café open, and a lot of them were in there eating and watching a baseball game. They had a lot of different areas where you could go and sit if you wanted to. They have a tea area and outside each of the residents’ apartments, they had a pedestal that you could decorate to kind of personalize your own entry way there.

It is a new facility; it has only been open about a year. It’s absolutely gorgeous; it’s like walking into a Hilton. The staff is wonderful, and the amenities are unbelievable. They have a movie theater, where they run movies twice a day. They have live entertainment on Friday nights. They have a bar area that serves wine and beer for the residents. They have a dining room that’s open from 7 in the morning till 7 at night, and they get to order from a menu. The layouts and the way they have it set up impressed me most. They have the two-bedroom apartment that we’re looking for for my parents. It’s licensed as assisted living, so her long-term care covers it, and they also have a memory-care facility right across their courtyard. It is incredible.

I chose here because they do daily respite care. It was an excellent place. It was beautiful, homey, and spacious. It was an open and calm atmosphere. My mom had respite care there. The staff was helpful. They answered all my questions, showed me the place, and talked about diet. They had some kids who came because they were located next to a school. There were high school kids that came in to play music. They had a garden that you could walk in, and it was nice. They had different options for security. They had a memory care secured unit, and they had assisted living units with front desks. I liked that they were just so open, calm, quiet, and peaceful. I was at their dining area. It was beautiful. They accommodated special meals.

My husband has been here since October, and so far it’s good. They have holidays, there are children coming and staying, and they teach crafts. The facility is brand new, and it looks like a 5-star hotel but he is in the memory care side so they have limitations in what I can do. He seems to be comfortable.

My aunt's room here is like a little apartment. The staff members are all very nice and helpful. Their dining area is set up like a restaurant. They have all kinds of activities.
