I had two aides. The first was ok and the second was creepy. She didn't speak English very well, so I couldn't understand her well, especially since she had a mask on. I feel like I can get a hold of them.

They have to have substitute, they have to communicate with you, and they have to send you the schedule. All of that was good in the beginning but became poor. In the first 3 weeks, it was very good. Within the last week or so, I have had problems. Nobody came for 2 days in a row, which was extremely difficult for me. Recently, people aren't showing up. They did not even call me, and I had to call them.

We're using BrightStar Care Centerville / Warren County for mom. Their service is good. They're on time, and they're caring. They don't stand around or sit around. They're not on their phones. Mom needs help with her ADLs, and the only thing she can do is eat and comb her hair. The agency is reliable and independent thinker.

I think they just found the right match. The first nurse they found out wasn't the right fit. They had a backup plan. They took the time and listened to what we needed. Her and Brianna clicked right away. We were thrilled that they found us a great nurse. They are very personable and understanding. They helped us. We had a nurse quit with no notice. They worked as fast as they could, and they found an excellent nurse. She came and saw her every day in the hospital. We had a special circumstance. She needed a nurse and not an aide.

They're good people and are usually punctual. The problem is they're so dang expensive. If you have the money, it's fine, but if you don't, you're in a spot.

I did everything she was supposed to do: sweep the floors, do the dishes, and cook the meals. She swept the floor once in a while. Their employees are lazy. They don't do anything. When they are here they follow my husband around the house like a little two year-old. As far as I'm concerned, they're worthless. A week later the supervisor came by and I couldn't even talk to the supervisor because the employee sat practically on top of the supervisor while I was trying to tell them what was going on. The employee followed the supervisor to her car, and when she came back, she informed me that she could take his van and take him anywhere he wanted to go, which is a no-no. She's not supposed to take him anywhere or even drive our car.

The nurse helps with the G2 feeding and provides developmental physical therapy activities for the baby. The reason why I would recommend them is specific to the nurse. She's really attentive and works well with the babies and goes to all the appointments with me.
