Home nursing after surgery; the initial visiting nurses were fine but in the end when I only needed someone to assist me to be there while I showered and help me get into a very tight surgical garment which took less than an hour, they charged me $84.00/hr which I think is outrageous. I asked for consideration on this charge but was not granted any. Will not use them again. Be sure to check their fees before you engage their services.

We have been using Take Care of Sarasota for five years now. My mom has gotten so used to her caregivers that when we moved her into a facility, they still continue to take care of her there. There are a couple of caregivers that my mother didn’t like at first, but they took care of it right away. They are very responsive and also have a wonderful service called Take Care Advisor. You pay extra for that to become a member, and you only use it as needed. The services Take Care caregivers provide to my mom include bathing and dressing her, going for walks, feed her breakfast and lunch, and playing games together. Her caregivers know her and know what she likes to do. They’re very companionable and are very helpful to my dad, too. I highly recommend them, no doubt about it.

Staff seem un-empowered by owners and a working relationship with clients suffers. Poor quality of caregiver service is the result and constant battle with all parties is a norm.
