Since I live 2000 miles away from my mother, A Lending Hand has been taking care of my mother since October 2017 . Tina has been conscientious and reliable all of the time. She provides care for my mother 5 days a week. She strives to always improve my mother's care , she has handled every emergency with quick responsiveness . The caregivers have been kind, thoughtful, compassionate and friendly. They arrive on time, they stay later if some thing comes up , they take my mom to lunch and to her appointments, they are cheerful and communicate with me to keep me up to date on my mom's needs. I called A Lending Hand on a weekend to get help for my parents. I was very surprised that the owner answered the telephone. She told me she could come out as early as that day (which was a Saturday morning) to do an assessment. She was very thorough in explaining the services and called a caregiver that day to start services for my parents. I am still using the services 6 months later. My parents were very hesitant in having help and now they are so attached to their caregivers! Definitely recommend this company! Very family-oriented and caring.

We used A Lending Hand for several months. The nursing staff was competent. They are very good, and they did a really good job. Their work attitude was wonderful. They were top professionals. I was very pleased with the various ones I had that came in from there. I liked the nurse, and I liked the way she handled him. However, their rates were higher. They charged close to $20 per hour, and they had a minimum of four hours that you had to use. They send the bill every single time. If it's three days a week, they would send you three bills, and I felt like it was unnecessary. I paid everything that I owed them, and I felt that some were over-charged. So, my personality was more of a clash with them. If I had not minded getting 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 bills a week, then that would have been right down my alley. However, that's an awful lot of paperwork, but they did not terminate me, and I thought that was remarkable that they didn't.
