Accepted Answer

Average age of our assisted living population is 76.   Some of the favorite things to do are, outings, games, exercise and socializing with each other.

What makes the chef or dining program at Eagle Ridge Senior Living exceptional? What kind of menu can assisted living residents expect?

Accepted Answer

We will serve three traditional home style meals,  as well make home made snacks available all day.   Additionally, if a resident has a certain diet, no problem, we will adhere to those concerns.

Accepted Answer

Eagle Ridge is located 1/4 mile south of downtown Osceola, WI.   The Village of Osceola is filled with many shops and boutiques

What safety features or security measures does Eagle Ridge Senior Living offer to assisted living residents?

Accepted Answer

The entire community is secure.  To enter the building family members will be provided with a key fob.   Without this, visitors coming to the community will need to be "buzzed" in.

Accepted Answer

We are very passionate about our memory care residents. We have a full time enrichment manager who has been trained in memory related activities.

Accepted Answer

The community manager is hands on with all the families and keeps all families informed about their loved ones, as well zoom meetings are scheduled.   We are planning on a newsletter that will also be going out to families.

We will have a full enrichment program.  Exercise, games, music, outings and gatherings within the community.

We have our own transportation passenger van.

The care staff receive 40 + hours when they are hired per state guidelines and additional hours throughout the year.

5-7 residents to care staff during the day and 2-3 care staff during the nighttime hours.

Accepted Answer

Residents who wander will be provided with a wander guard, which in a bracelet and alerts the staff that they have walked out the building.

The care staff receive 20 hours when they are hired additional  hours throughout the year.

4 -5 staff during the day (14 residents).   2-3 during the overnight

Accepted Answer

We have a full time nurse who evaluates residents prior to moving in, then at 30 and 90 days as well as after a year.

We are a team here at Eagle Ridge.  The care staff as well as the management team will assist during mealtimes.

We have numerous methods of communication with our families.   Besides phone calls, the director will also email, and zoom calls with families.

Describe the neighborhood around Eagle Ridge Senior Living. Is it located in a residential neighborhood, a business district, a rural setting, or other type of locale?

We are located in a small farming community along the banks of the St. Croix River that separates  Wisconsin from Minnesota.   Our community opened in 2020, and resides on top of a hill.  The front of the building sits across the street from a quiet "woodsy" setting.

We have teamed up with a hospital that is located less than a mile from our community.
