My dad had been attacked and had a stroke. He was here for A long time and couldn't have lived without these great people. Ben is a nurse who helped my dad alot and also Alanae is a beautiful physical therapist who works there. Without them my dad would have died and without Alanae I would not be sane. I love their care and it's a good facility. Cool people and good care means that things will be ok after All.

Most disgusting facility! Definitely not a place for a loved one. Don't walk away - RUN! I showed up at 11:00 am, my mother was laying in her own urine begging to be changed. But they were "at lunch". Even after I went and got a caregiver, it was another half an hour before anyone came to help. They had not given her breakfast. Pressing your "call" button is a waste of time - no one comes. My mother is in her 90's and needs substantial care. This certainly isn't the place to be for that. THEN they refused to discharge her to hospice. I am SO sorry my mother had to go through this!

I would like to thank Kennewick Life Care from the bottom of my heart for everything they have done for my Dad. Before my Dad went to this facility he was very depressed. He consistently talked about how he was ready to leave this world. In just a few weeks he became a different positive and happy person. Environments is everything! He is happy, content and grateful he is living in a place that accommodates all his needs. Now He is always bragging about how great the staff is and how well they take care of him, AND how well he feels. He loves the facility because it reminds him of home, its a very warm and friendly environment and he feels safe and well taken care of. He has made awesome friends that are now a part of his social life in this facility. My Dad says the best part of Kennewick Life care is that they accommodate his food. Food is everything! lol but they accommodate that too, and the best part is I can join him for any of his meals any time of the week and that makes my day. Thanks again to Kennewick Life Care you gave me my Dad back!!! You guys are awesome!!

My wife is receiving good inpatient rehab and nursing care in the short-term part of the facility. The staff are qualified, caring, and attentive and have a cheerful, positive attitude. It seems to be a well-run organization. The food ranges from okay to very good (although often brought to the room barely warm). Our main complaint is that the room doors have strong returns and the slamming from "next door" can at times be very alarming. I'm glad we're there and would recommend it to any family whose loved one needs rehab and care.

Grandpa seemed fairly well cared for. He was well fed and received his medicines on time, however the facility lost his glasses and hearing aid on several occasions. Staff sometimes seemed uninterested in their work and uninterested in the residents as people. The facility was clean, but smelled strongly of antiseptic. The food seemed bland and industrial. Grandpa lost weight rapidly after entering the facility, though it may have been as a result of his Alzheimer's instead of any fault with his care. The residents seemed happy for any little entertainment we could provide. My mother and I would come play piano and sing hymns and old favorites. We were always welcome. Security was very good and the patients with dimentia/Alzheimer's were safely contained in their wing and courtyard. Family members were given the access codes to get in and out for visits. Not the best location we've ever seen, but it was affordable and they kept the piano tuned.

The staff members seem to care about the residents, however they do seem to be a bit overwhelmed at times with job that at best, would be very taxing. Everyone I came into contact with had a smile and seem to be busy about their assignments. From what I could tell the residents are clean and well taken care of, and the facility is clean and neat. One of the things I really like about this care center is that the family members are welcome to stay with their loved ones, use the facitilites and even eat with them for a small fee. The people I have dealt with seem to feel at home here. I have had conversations with several family members who have loved ones placed in the care center and they seem to be comfortable with the care and the surroundings. I think that the professional running this Life Care Center have the best interests of the residents at heart and do their best to give the best level of care possible.
