"I toured Parkview Estates. It was absolutely beautiful. The people were fabulous. The facility had everything you could want. It was amazing. It was large; you could roam around. You can do so much there if you're able to get around, but even if you can't, they have music and puzzles. They had numerous activities. Downstairs, they have music. The cafe was nostalgic and gorgeous. They had room for puzzles if you like to do puzzles. It had everything that you could imagine. I was impressed."

"I visited Riverwalk Estates Gracious Retirement Living. It's a beautiful place. It's a brand new building and everything. It's expensive, though. It is a wonderful place. They were so nice to me. I don't know how I would ever be able to afford something like this, but it's gorgeous. The lady, Brittany, is beautiful, too. She was very, very warm and gracious. The staff members were so gracious. The furniture was all new and everything. The rooms were beautiful. The real selling point for me, because I'm crazy about showers, is that they have a walk-in shower that is just gorgeous. They have a movie theater and a popcorn machine. They have a game room. The staff said they have three meals a day. Across the street is Bob's Burger and all kinds of restaurants and things. The hospital is like two blocks away. It is just fabulous. One should go out there and look at it. The building is gorgeous. They had a little scooter that was sitting there as you walk in the door, and I thought, because the hallways are quite large, you could have fun with scooters."

"Canyon Lakes was very nice. We looked at the room, and we had a meeting with the director or coordinator, but it was pretty clear that my mom could not afford that facility because she is on a limited income. It is a little more upscale, so they charged more. We met another person there, and I think one of the nurses was very nice and friendly. We did look at the apartment; it was not finished. I think somebody had just moved out so it wasn’t clean yet. We looked at the studio rooms, and that was very nice. They also have a swimming pool. "

"It was well located and pretty good, but I didn’t like the room that I saw. It gave me a closed-in feeling. The staff was good, pleasant, and very welcoming. Their dining hall was pretty nice. Everything I saw was impressive."

"I've been in and out of Tri-Cities Retirement Inn over the past few years because we had relatives there. It's an old facility, but it's clean. The staff was helpful. We had a Thanksgiving meal there. The rooms were homey and comfortable. They had a library, music programs, and an old cars event."
