My brother was at Bonaventure of Tri-Cities. His room was very nice and very well appointed as far as the furniture was. The sheets, towels, and linens were all provided and the bed was very nice and comfortable. There's enough seating for guests and the kitchen was good. Their director was great. My brother had a couple of episodes where 911 had to be called and they were really on top of that. The front desk was also really great. We interacted with the dining room staff and the chef prepared excellent food for the residents. They had activities like movies, a wonderful library they could go to, computers they could use, and other things they do outside of the community. The place was decorated nicely and they provide the best value for their price.

Bonaventure of Tri-Cities was very nice, newer, and more expensive. It almost had like a hotel environment, so it was kind of a little sterile. They offered amenities, but they only offered two meals a day instead of three. The staff seemed very friendly, but I only went there twice. I thought the rooms were a little bit smaller. Obviously, they were newer, but I thought they were smaller and didn't seem to have as much storage.

My sister moved into Bonaventure of Tri-Cities. The facility was very clean. The director was wonderful and very helpful. They have a big dining room. They have lots of activities every day that are all catered to seniors. They are a fair price. The rooms were wonderful and had lots of space. Every room has a kitchen and balcony. The decorations in this place are exceptional. There are benches in the hallways. They have a salon. I tried the food, and it was really good. They have a walking trail around the building, big grassy areas, and other areas for pets.

I went and checked out Bonaventure of Tri-Cities. It was very, very expensive, but it was a nice place. Their assisted living apartment was very nice. For activities, they had movies and games. The staff was very friendly and kind, and they sent me lunch.

My husband and I lived there and volunteer there five days a week doing the movies five nights a week and choosing them all seven days for about ten months now. We feel like family there and are accepted as such as well. We know the management and staff well and know them to be loving and caring people. We have seen them in action on a daily basis for many months now. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone and every one. One of our volunteer jobs is to meet with and orient new people to the facility. It is our pleasure to get to know them and help them adjust. It is particularly fun to take them through their first party at the facility. ....the energy that goes into the parties with a focus on LIVING is amazing.......especially when the residents beat the staff in bean bag baseball!!

Riverton was huge, and immaculate but too expensive for what you get. They were very accommodating and very professional. They had all the information in a nice hand-out available for me to take with me to review on my own time, and they weren’t pushy. It came down to cost. I went in and met with the staff who answered all my questions and had the brochures and handouts readily available, so that I could make an informed decision.

I thought Riverton by Bonaventure was very nice. I really like the people that were in charge, -- e.g., the director and the activities coordinator. I like it very well. Their rooms were spacious, very clean, and very modern. I like them really well. However, there are not much grounds around. Once you go outside, you're limited to a parking lot. I like Riverton by Bonaventure really well. They were very friendly. The place is very nice. It's clean and modern. The only reason I didn't choose this place is because they have no outdoor access for people. Nevertheless, I would absolutely recommend this place.

Riverton had pleasant people and was neat and clean. You can see outside, which was good. It was a nice place. Their rooms were better than other places I saw. I saw very limited activities, but people were in the dining area. They were all pretty friendly and wanted to talk to me. Some of the people were much older than I am, so that was one turn off for me. The rooms were good, clean, and had some views that you can sit and enjoy.

I liked Riverton very much. The food service was very quick, easy and comfortable, and the room was very nice. They had a lot of activities for the people and I was very impressed with that.

For the most part, Riverton is an "okay" place. By that I mean some things are great and other things less than great. The physical state of the facility and the cleanliness are super. There is a nice library and quite an assortment of activities. The staff is wonderful when not restrained by "corporate". The bus will take residents on outings to shopping and doctor appts, etc. but recently they have tried to tell my elder resident that they would not take her to her hair appointment anymore. Assertive resident that she is, they reversed their decision when she confronted them with her written agreement that said they would provide this service. The main downside is the food. Their dining organization (timely service, etc.) is very poor as is the quality of the food. This may sound trivial but when you are counting on food service, and paying for it, you should not have to settle for sub-standard service and quality day in and day out. It is not unusual for residents to wait for up to an hour or an hour and a half from time of seating to actually getting their plate of food. Quantities are chinsey and quality is poor. One other downside is lack of wi-fi service. This is an inconvenience for residents and visitors alike. For an operation of this size to not provide wi-fi in this day and age is ludicrous; Even cheap motels have wi-fi available.

We stayed at Riverton for six months. My husband was unhappy there, which was the main reason why we moved away. That, and the fact that their food was terrible. We had an apartment that was clean and well taken care of. I don't have any complaints about this community other than the fact that my husband hated the food and wanted to be more independent. Overall, Riverton was good with the exception of the food.

We went to Riverton. It was very nice. The staff was very nice. They gave us a nice meal. The food was great. They took us on a tour of the place. They showed us all the different rooms. The rooms were all first class. They have a bus, and they would take people to their doctors and what-not. They have entertainers that would come in. They would play music, and sometimes they sing; that was nice.

Riverton by Bonaventure is a nice building, and the spaces are pleasant. It seemed like the residents are kind of varied. They obviously are mostly old, but there is kind of a range of them. The staff seems fairly friendly. They are alright. Some of them are better than others. They seem to have trouble with turnover of the caregivers. Some people have been there the entire time my mom has been there. A few people have been there for a longer time. Among the other people, there is more turnover. She doesn't really complain about the food. The sanitation is good. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment. Well it would be nice to have it a little bigger, but it is more expensive if it's bigger. We have just been sticking with this one because she doesn't seem to care.

My grandson was impressed with the outside and with how nice it looked. That's why he came in to check out Riverton. I'm glad he did. I like living here. Everyone is so nice.

My parents are very unhappy at Riverton by Bonaventure; the main reason is the food situation. They’re always out of everything, there’s never any food. They very rarely get what they order, and the quality of the food is deplorable. Plus we’ve also had some concerns with the cost being changed and the assisted living fee being changed. The one thing we can say that’s positive is that the caregivers who worked there are outstanding. They are wonderful young women who are very caring, very loving, and are doing wonderful job assisting my dad. The amenities that they offer are not the amenities that they have. Their amenities are very limited; they promise a lot of things, and then once we got there and my parents moved in, it was "Oh sorry we don’t have that, sorry we don’t have that." They tried to move my dad to another facility with Parkinson’s, and some confusion and dementia would be a really bad thing right now, so we’re just trying to make the best of a bad situation.
