Vintage at Richland was really affordable, and it's strictly based on income. It was a nice place. It's quite clean. It has a beauty parlor and a library. It's kept really good. It was well taken care of, and it's nonsmoking inside the building, which is nice. It's right on the bus route, and it's within walking distance. That makes it really accessible. They take pets, which is good, because I have a cat. They said it was like $350 for a pet deposit, but if it's considered your therapeutic companion and it's good for your mental health, then they have to waive the fee. The staff answered every single question. I didn't feel rushed, and she was real nice. The manager who does the applications used to work where I am living right now. So we were kind of familiar with each other. The manager said that they hired two more maintenance guys because they were really slow at fixing the elevator. They have storage units across the hall from the apartment. They have a ballroom that is huge, and it even has a second floor, but it was empty both times I took a tour there. I was really pleased. They don't have meal service.

I moved into Vintage at Richland. What I like about it is the price. The apartments have a refrigerator, washer, dryer, stove, microwave, and water heater. However, they don't have enough to keep repairs done quickly, and that's a little concerning for the residents. The residents have a renters' association, and they are now negotiating with management to get a faster response to repairs. The electricity is at the expense of the renter, not the tenant. It's a good value. It was the lowest cost of all the facilities I looked at.

Vintage at Richland is wonderful. The apartments here are beautiful. There are lots of social activities, like movie nights, crafting, and there's going to be a Halloween party this coming Saturday. The whole building and the grounds are very nice, very well kept, and very clean. The staff has been very helpful and the services they provide are good.
