Everett Gold Care is a small homecare facility, and they have six people there. They have more personalized care per person. We chose it because of availability, and it was more open to mom's condition. The other ones that we looked at did not have a memory care unit, and even the ones that did didn't have available space, so we were forced to go with this one, which turned out to be a good choice on our part. It's top-notch, clean, and sterile. The owner was very diligent about how she kept the place. Everything was done professionally. They had physical therapists come in a couple times a week and help with mobility. They have a large deck which affords the residents a chance to go out, get some fresh air, and enjoy the sun. The owner made all the food from scratch, so it wasn't commercialized at all. There were no instant meals. She cooked extraordinarily well. Nutrition wise, the people there are getting top-notch food.
