My mom is at Sego Lily Assisted Living and she likes the place because it's just small. It's more like an adult care home kind of feel with only 8 or 9 rooms. It was a different type of assisted living environment for her than the larger places. The care is attentive, flexible, and very focused on her needs. That's mainly because it's small, so they can bend a little bit. It helps them to provide more tailored care for her. They're just very nice too. They have such empathy and compassion for the people that they are taking care of and serving, including the families. They have a six-week rotating menu, then they have games, puzzles, people coming in to play some music, arts and crafts, and they also go for walks. It's got a big open kitchen right in the middle and so it feels cozy and it's like a family-style atmosphere.
