My husband is in a nursing home at Wesley Woods Rehabilitation and Healthcare. He's been there for a couple of weeks now. It's excellent. There are no complaints whatsoever. He is in a locked-down unit because of his dementia and late-onset Alzheimer's. It's excellent. It's very, very nice, and I am very impressed with it, the building, the landscaping, the care that they give, and it's a very clean place. Their staff is excellent. They check on their patients every two hours. They take care of whatever needs the patient has. They're very caring people. They have excellent cuisine for the patients that are there. I sneaked some of my husband's dinner one time and overall, it's the best I've seen so far. Their food is excellent. They have an excellent chef. Because it's memory care, you find people in wheelchairs or Geri chairs or sitting around the community area. They have a big TV where people will sit. Otherwise, most of them are bedridden in their rooms. For what memory care is and whatnot, they have an excellent supply of needs for the patient in the room. They're small rooms. My husband shares the bathroom with the other male person on the other side of his room. It's like a suite and they share the bathroom. Furniture-wise, it's OK for what is needed for these types of patients. My husband happens to be a wanderer, and we had to move him to a facility that had a lockdown, and that's what Wesley Woods was. Value for money is excellent. For whatever we have to pay out of pocket, it is an excellent price and well worth it. It can be just a respite. If a family needs to go somewhere or on vacation, they can put them in this facility for the two weeks that they're gone, so that's an excellent value in itself. The people there are considerate because it's an excellent unit.

Staff refused to listen and respect family wishes. They are pushy and rude.

My sister is in Wesley Woods Alzheimer's Care Center. I have seen the room that she's in, and it was neat and clean. They've taken good care of my sister. She had therapy there, but she's in hospice now.

My Mother n law had to go for rehab and we thought with all the reviews this place was good with everything we reviewed. Lets just say we didn't have that same experience! She was put on the aggressive floor for Alzheimer. I know while she was there for 2 weeks, we seen her decline in a major way. Her feet were swollen and hurt and until we pointed this out to them, then they gave her medicine, she couldn't sleep, then we requested her hair to be done and this didn't happen! Her clothes came up missing and her new lotions also. Part of her wedding band was found, which she never took off!!!! We really tried to give them the benefit of a doubt but we moved ASAP to another facility, and just in a day she was back smiling and even got a laugh from her. I am sorry but I will never be back here again!!!!!!!!

Wesley Woods Alzheimer's Care Center (Wesley Woods Health and Rehabilitation) is the best around the area for the money and convenient. The staff is very good. They stay on top of things and take care of my mother-in-law's every need. The place always smells and looks clean.

My wife was suffering from dementia due to an extremely bleeding ulcer. When I got to the emergency room the doctor told me that she would basically be a vegetable the rest of her life. However, when she was discharged from the hospital, to be transported to the nursing home, the doctor told me she would probably spend the rest of her life in a nursing home. I placed her in Wesley Woods at the recommendation of a friend that is a Waco native. There my wife received excellent care. I can't say enough about the staff, but they were caring, helpful, knowledgeable of her condition and provided a wonderful environment for her. The rehab therapist's were absolutely wonderful. Wesley Wood's has a staff of speech pathologists, physical therapists and other specialists. After seven weeks she was released back to my care. I am happy to report that she has regained all of her 'faculties' and is once again the caring and loving wife that I've know since we were 12 years old...and we're now both 70. I know an awful lot of prayer's were answered, but many were answered through the Wesley Woods' staff. Wesley Woods is an outstanding facility and I highly recommend them for the care of your loved ones.
